Hub Mini | Smart Home Hub | Controls Matter, Alexa, SmartThings, Philips Hue, Nanoleaf, Govee... Compatible Devices Through Flic Button or Flic Twist

The Flic Hub Mini is a small device to manage your Flic Twist controllers, with which you can integrate and control your smart enabled devices. This device is pretty small and can be attached underneath your desk or hidden behind switch boards. You setup once and forget that it even existed. This is a mandatory device if you want to use Flic Twist controller. Without this hub Flic buttons or twist wont work. Setting up Flic hub mini was pretty straight forward, you need to download the app from Google Play store (Andriod) or Apple App store (iPhone) then turn on the Bluetooth on your phone and follow the steps. Setup was easy and allows you to add your Flic Twist or button functions. This device supports Matter enabled smart home devices, Alexa, Ikea home integration. If you are mostly Google smart home connected user then stay away from this device. Wish this device supported more platforms. With the ease of touch functions at your desk or wall mounted, it would have unlocked more usable possibilities with more platform support/integration.

Flic Hub works great without disconnection from the Flic Buttons. However its usefulness can be negatively impacted if it's partner Flic Buttons and communication with the final connecting device have issues. In my case, I use LIFX light bulbs. When everything connects up, everything is great. But I have found there is sometimes a communication breakdown between the lights and the button. While this may not be entirely tied to the Hub as fault, as they all tie together via the eco-system. . . it is part of the whole. When it works, I have the HUB connected to my Wi-Fi via the Flic App. The 3 Flic buttons I own are connected under the HUB. I then link my LIFX bulbs to the Flic buttons which are in separate room. The functionality is great when it works. And I would recommend it for people who are okay with a bit of setup and understand that connection may have delay or disconnect on occasion. As I have a room where my light switch doesn't work, this has been great solving that issue for me. I'm giving this a 4/5 because its a good product overall, for those who need it.

I’m absolutely thrilled with my Hub Mini! Setting it up and using it with all my smart devices is incredibly easy. The Flic Button and Flic Twist are absolute game-changers, allowing me to control everything with just a tap or a twist. This compact and sleek hub is a true powerhouse! It works flawlessly, and I’ve found that I’ve reduced the number of voice commands and app switches I need to make. If you’re looking to streamline your smart home setup, I highly recommend the Hub Mini.

I did my research on the Flic website and one thing they don't tell you this hub doesn't work with Apple HomeKit. Only the higher Flic Hub LR has that function. Also what's interesting they advertise the buttons themselves to work with HomeKit and the flic phone app. That's also false. Might work fine if you have Android products. Apple HomeKit, buy the more expensive Flic Hub LR.

I've been looking into Flic for a while and decided to start by getting the Hub mini to get into the Flic ecosystem. This is about the tiniest hub I've ever seen. It is seriously small and plugs into any USB power. I plugged it in, got the app and it was recognized and connected right away. Simple as that. Now I can add whatever buttons and other Flic devices I want. This is a must for anyone looking to start using flic buttons and have them trigger smart home devices and routines. Highly recommended.

I am not tech savvy so this was pleasantly surprising and easy to set up. I am absolutely impressed that I can use it in my house since it’s a 5000 sq ft home. I love how it makes my experiences easier and more streamlined for me to control! I will absolutely be adding more! I got the white color since it blends with the walls better. This is a great idea for easy install and just being able to update your already installed systems!

Finally a hub to make the Flic products work without a phone attached. This hub opened a whole new world for our special needs adult child. He now can interact with the "Amazon Ecosystem" without me at home. All the Flic buttons we have programed are just a drop in the bucket to we will now be doing with the addition of this hub, The hub was easy to install on the first try, without any hesitation didn't even read the instructions until after was working. Access through the app is easy and connects easy. I'm excited for the future possibilities not that we added the hub. I don't know how we existed without it.

Finally, an affordable hub for these amazing little devices. I personally use the buttons to run Alexa routines. I have found the response to be noticeably faster than running off the phone directly. Added bonus of not having to make sure the app is open on the phone or dedicating a spare phone to that function.
