NapForm Eye Mask with BioSense Memory Foam

I have tried every type of sleep-eye-mask there was accessible to me, I had just about given up... Then when searching for a neck pillow, I stumbled onto this, and I decided (after thoroughly reading reviews,) to give it one more go, and put on my wish list! I have Recieved it for Christmas, AND gave another as a gift. I used my NapForm Eye Mask w/Biosense Memory Foam that same day/night, taking it with me on our long drives to see family, and later to sleep at home. It was very comfortable, no elastic that stretches out or hurts ones ears, just a thin, flat, band with adjustable Velcro, the curved portion around the eyes is a great advancement! It was not unbreathable/sweaty like I suspected it might be because of other memory foam types-Big Relief! Blocked our ALL light, I got to get the right amount of sleep, even though the room was very sunny, just the way my significant other likes it upon waking. My only negative comment is the whole item is not as big as in the photo illustration used. The one in photo looks wider all ways around, with more outward coverage, but both the gift I gave, and my own, were more narrow. A bit disappointing, but it still wins so far in this category of eye masks to have a good night's sleep in.

This mask really really blocks out all light - if you open your eyes underneath it, you cannot tell at all if there is any light in the room. It is very soft and comfortable to wear. . As to washing it - I put one in the washer and dryer once because like anything that touches your skin, after awhile it "lacks freshness," no matter how immaculate a person you are. It survived, but was a bit slack in its elasticness. But I won't hesitate to wash my new one gently by hand with a little Dawn, and dry it without using the dryer (wrap it in a towel for 24 hours, then hang it somewhere).

Overall, I'm disappointed. The eye mask is OK but not the level I expect from Brookstone. It is good at blocking out all light, allows you to blink with it on, and has very comfortable material. However, the strap is extremely uncomfortable and ineffective. It goes over my ears and doesn't stay in place when I adjust it (it falls down right away). This is better than nothing, but I will be looking for a new, more comfortable eye mask.

Super comfy! I’ve tried many sleep masks and this is the best one so far. My only complaint is the strap on back. It’s a rough material and damaging on my hair. They should make the exact mask with silk over the Velcro to protect the hair from split ends.

So far so good and I have had some great nights sleep and even the bad night the other day was not so terrible thanks to this eye mask. Two of my windows in my bedroom have a southern and exposure and so every morning the sun is coming up and there are some days where I would rather sleep until the alarm goes off or until my body naturally wakes me up after a great night sleep. After years of using Benadryl but always waking up groggy, changing pillows, listening to music or meditation, I finally realized that when it comes to getting a good night sleep sometimes I am my own worst enemy because I opened up my eyes and start looking around. Brookstone always makes wonderful products but this blocks out every single bit of light that even on the brightest summer day you would not have a clue what time it is. The Velcro in the back is so nice and adjustable that it does not matter if you sleep on your side or on your back. I don't know how people would sleep with their face in their pillow?? Seems easy enough to throw in a wash machine but when the time comes I will hand wash. We spend at least 30 to 40% of our time sleeping so why not get the best most relaxing nights sleep we can? This has a nice way of almost acting like a security blanket that hugs your eyes and gently presses around as tight or as loose as you would like. Each person has their own preference and so I like that this is not one-size-fits-all. Pricey but the only one I would use or recommend.

I work 12 hour overnight shifts and sleep during the day. I’ve been using the cheap eye masks that end up sliding off when I would change positions. It didn’t matter if I slept for 3 hours, once the light hits my eyes, I would be up for the rest of the day. My husband bought these for me. They fit super snug without causing discomfort and they’re soft. They block out any kind of light and, it’s weird to say, but the slight pressure on my eyelids help me get to sleep faster. I even use them when I’m off and sleeping at night with the rest of my family. I’m so thankful my husband bought these for me. They are so worth it.

Not as pictured or described, and I am some kind of angry! This item may be ineligible for return; however, this item is not what I ordered! How about THAT? I believe this might even constitute some type of fraudulent advertising, certainly innocent, but something that should not go without notice or correction. I believe the mask I received may be Brookstone's current offering, whereas the photo and description apply to an earlier model, which I own. The mask is not usable for me because it does NOT have an adjustable strap as described. The mask and eye cups are quite a bit smaller then the photograph and pulled tightly against my eyes. The strap is extremely tight. I attempted a return, confident in Amazon's generous return policy, one I have used several times, but was stymied due to understandable health concerns. These concerns, however, do not trump the indisputable fact the product I received is not the product Amazon described. Amazon is about to lose a loyal customer. You can ring my bell.

Love the feel and the fact that it actually blocks out all the light for me. It fits perfectly for me and my head. The softness and comfortablity of this mask is wonderful. Doesn’t come off easily either. I’m a night nurse so I need a great quality mask for daytime sleep. I had a different type before this that I loved for over a yr but it was wearing out and getting stretchy. So I’m glad I found one just as good and comfortable if not better.
