22g Protein Pastry 0g Added Sugar, Low Carb, Gluten Conscious, Keto Snack, Ideal for Glucose Management, Includes Whey Protein Isolate, 8 Pack Frosted Blueberry

I ordered the legendary Smores and really liked the flavor, even if the artificial sweetener taste was a bit obvious, but the blueberry flavor was not great. Came in fine, no sort of icepack or anything to keep it cool so keep that in mind, especially in California summer heat for me. The frosted blueberry vice the smores was far too sweet tasting and made me feel sick just eating one. Understandably so, the sucralose in the ingredients is far too strong and the artificial sweetener taste overpowered my taste buds. This is present in their other products, but for the blueberry it stood out far more. Also, note the price. A bit high considering what you get. Each package comes with one pastry, with 8 pastries total. When I bought it that would mean it would be 3.75 per pastry. Would you buy protein poptarts for $7.50? Poptarts may not have protein but the price difference is a bit crazy if you do the math. **UPDATE** Legendary foods contacted me saying they were sorry they heard I wasn't satisfied with the product and sent my suggestion on packing to corporate and processed a refund to my account for my order that I made over a month ago (September 8th). That was very nice to see and I was honestly surprised. I brought my review from 3 stars to 5 just alone due to the customer service. In my eyes, if your willing to pay the cost and try the food, try it. If you aren't satisfied Legendary foods seem pretty competent on their customer service side and I don't see why you wouldn't at least try it.

So i have an update. These have gone to crap from Amazon. Now they are flat, wet, sticky and just wrong. Packages are different. Either they changed suppliers or they are getting duped. I now buy these exclusively at the store. Will no longer purchase this on amazon. First impression was disappointing it only had one pastry inside. But don’t let that fool you! It’s dense, and has much more filling than its um competitors lookin at you pop tarts! It has 20g of protein and plenty of fiber! Its pastry is sort of soft and fluffy. Another pleasant surprise after the other “toaster pastries”. Most of their products are at or around 200 calories. Since purchasing this, I’ve gone on to try strawberry which is comparable in flavor with same macros. The s’mores is smaller and has 20 less calories and while good doesn’t give me a true s’mores vibe. The cinnamon rolls are meh unless you microwave them for about 12 seconds. That’s a game changer! The chocolate cinnamon roll is the better of the two. I typically pair this with one of my spylt milk drinks for 40 grams of protein and 290 calories. It’s not a bad way to start your morning! That said, I hope as the brand grows the price improves. That’s why I had to deduct one star. It doesn’t stop me from buying them in bulk, but could be a deal breaker for some in this economy.

I love these! They get major mixed reviews but I'm not sure why. They are delicious! Packed with protein, filling is perfectly sweet and great for on the go. I actually like the "crust" of these 10 times better than an actual Pop Tart!

Let's talk about Legendary keto pastries. I've been on a low carb diet for a couple years now and was looking for something quick I could eat for breakfast. It tried the chocolate, strawberry, blueberry (this one), and cherry. They're all ok. They're not pop-tarts, but they're ok. Blueberry is my second favorite behind cherry. Others my like them too because sometimes they're out of stock. Eventually I moved full keto and gave these up. They started tasting too sweet, and I couldn't justify the $30+ price tag on a box of 10 of them. They're just too expensive. In my mind they're a good transition snack into a keto diet or maybe an occasional snack. I don't recommend them as a daily meal replacement.

They taste good and have great macros, but they've took a massive dip in quality. You'll see in other reviews what I'm referring to if you look at the pictures. In short - there's an older version of the product that was great, exactly like you see pictured on the box. But they've since moved to a new (I assume cheaper) manufacturing process that's simply not anywhere as good. They still taste okay and have good macros, but for how much these cost, I expect the original high quality pastries, not what they're pushing now. I'm finishing what I have in stock then moving on to a new product.

These dont tast great. They do not look like what they do on the package. There is no nice jelly. It is a dry wasteland of protein and artificial sweenteners. I'm not sure what I was hoping for in a protein dessert but this was not it. *Edit 4/30/26 - Customer service for legendary foods reached out to me and offered a full refund which I accepted. I appreciate this effort and thank you for the excellent customer service. There was no downside to trying these now and I will consider trying some other legendary food products for sure.

Excellent product. Definitely the best high protien/fiber bar I have ever purchased. They aren't too sweet and are quite filling. I have rough time due to my schedule of eating enough. I also avoid meat. I especially enjoy the texture of the pastry. Most protein bars are either hard as a rock or so extreme chewy that they can pull out teeth. This pastry is just right either straight out of the package or microwave for ten seconds. Personally I prefer straight out of the package. My only negative is the price. However, a cup of coffee and a pastry is definitely at least $10.- in a coffee shop in the city where I work. With these protein pastries I don't have to buy any quick snacks and I am eating a very healthy snack. I definitely recommend. I plan to order in other flavors.
