Plenty of sun protection! I mean plenty! Straps fit my newborn perfectly. I only purchase GRACO car seats. We put three on the registry for each car. I love GRACO. The LITE LX is enough. My baby is very comfortable. He loves his car seat. I actually got the ten year seat. It was too big for my sedan so I sat it in my hemi. It’s literally waiting to be swapped out but I honestly don’t think it’s necessary. This one has a handle unlike the other which was way more expensive. This is a great purchase. Easy to install.

So we haven't tried it out as the Grand baby won't be here until December but it seems very sturdy. There is enough padding to provide comfort for her. When we put it in the car it was not too bulky and fit very nicely. It was easy to pop out the carrier portion as well. I feel the value is good after looking at many other carriers.
