This is a great little box cutter to have on hand. The fridge magnet is genius. It's pretty small, and the blade is short, so it's maybe not the best for heavy duty tasks or breaking down/scoring large boxes in bulk. But for breaking down every day consumer boxes and occasionally breaking down larger boxes, it's perfect!

The compact size makes it easy to keep in a drawer or even attach to a keychain so it’s always nearby. One thing I really like about it is the ceramic blade. It cuts through tape and cardboard easily but feels a bit safer to handle compared to traditional metal blades. The manual retracting design also helps keep the blade covered when it’s not in use. I actually picked this up as a safer option for opening packages around the house, especially with a baby around. It works great for opening shipping boxes and Amazon packages without needing a larger utility knife. Overall, this is a handy little tool that’s easy to use and feels like a safer alternative to standard box cutters.

I buy these as gifts for everyone! So nice to have a small box cutter on hand that doesn’t get dull. I feel like it’s something you wouldn’t buy for yourself but it’s a great gift.

I am absolutely amazed at how easily this cutter breaks.down a box. I receive packages almost daily and usually multiple boxes per day. I’ve been using an old fashioned letter opener or a razor sharp utility knife to break down boxes. Those tools have resulted in broken nails and cuts on my fingers. I am so impressed with these safe and small cutters. I used the first one I ordered in a daily basis After 2 weeks, I dropped it on concrete and the shell casing fell off. I was able to reattach and it worked fine for awhile. Then I dropped it again and it was broken. I’m ordering another as well as a larger cutter by Slice for my heavier boxes. I gave these as presents to my teenage grandchildren. They are great. They cut with absolute easy through cardboard making the job easier and taking much less time.

I use this mini box cutter every week, mainly to open packages. I love that it has a magnet; I put it on the fridge for easy access when I need it. The ceramic blade works well and I like that you don't have to worry about any slips since it is a safer blade.

Got this to open my medications and it has been so helpful! This blade makes a great cut in a small size. The size of the cutter is about the size of a lighter.

I've purchased a few of these for use at work. I keep them on my keychain and in my pocket all day. Ergonomically it is very good, easy to open, use and have put away in a few seconds even as a lefty. There are a few issues though. The product has two halves and a locking mechanism that you open to either lock onto your keychain or replace the blade, the locking mechanism is just a slide that goes up over a small plastic tab. If you keep this on your keychain in your pocket, without fail this tab will get nudged to the unlocked position and slide off the keychain or split open the whole tool. I kept a piece of masking tape over the tab to prevent this. The second issue is that without fail, after about 3 or 4 months of heavy use these break. I don't know if its the plastic locking tab or something else breaking, but they all will no longer clip back together and stay locked which necessitates buying a new one. I have never had one last long enough to require replacing the blade. I'd be happy to pay a bit more for a more sturdily built version of this, but that doesn't seem to exist at the moment. I will note that the blade is pretty safe, it is possible to cut yourself but it requires quite a bit of force rather than just accidentally nicking a finger. The tool is also very light, you won't feel it in your pocket which is nice.

The item is great for opening boxes and easy to use!! It is easy to transport in my pants pocket!!

Must have. Little costly but worth it as easily cuts through boxes and plastic wraps without effort and risk of cuts. My kids can use safely
