These adaptors grip the floats very well. I have not had any floats seperate from the adaptors so far so all good !

Good product but be careful when purchasing they will only work with thin waggler stems.

I have been using various ‘patterns’ of this product for years but these have a few plus points that make them better than the others. The rubber is very flexible so, although the tube is quite narrow it will slide over a float and grip like a demented monkey. It seems to be better quality than most others. The hole to take the line is deliberately small. It is designed to work with very tiny ‘stoppers’. I use these on 9lb line without a problem by giving the hole a poke with a baiting needle or something similar. They really work well on fine monofilament. I use 1.5lb bs and it slides through without a problem. Fishing gear is all about finding what works for you. I like these things a lot but you may not. Do try them though, they aren’t expensive and if you don’t like them give them to another angler!
