i bought this tent approx 6 months ago and have used it 2 times since for 2 night/3 day trips. Here are my thoughts . 1. the foot print is not exactly 8'x8' it is less by 4-6" 2. the materials & workmanship on the tent i received is excellent. the original that was delivered had a flaw in the stitching and i returned it and had it replaced with another tent which was perfect. this return/replacement went easy. 3. the ventilation in the tent is excellent and the windows/door etc sizing is perfect and well laid out. 4. the zippers work well & are easy to manage. 5. the rainfly is easy to install & still permits ventilation through the screening material on the top of the tent 6. i have not had it in rain so i don't know how it performs but the seams are taped well and the tent material appears to be a tight weave that would resist rain 7. the stakes are adequate and do the job ... no complaints although they are not what I would consider heavy duty. 8. i have had it in pretty strong winds and it seems to hold up well structurally. 9. there is a sowed in storage bag mounted on each side of the tent adequate for a flashlight, wallet, phone, keys etc. in addition you can clip a retention net on the inside at the top of the tent area - i haven't done that as i haven't needed that extra storage space. there are hooks at the same location that allow you to support a small battery operated fan and/or battery charged lantern if you want ... Over the years I have owned many tents. This tent is impressive to me. it's light weight, well sized and designed, easily put up and taken down by 1 person, it compacts well and fits in its carry bag nicely. the size is perfect for 1 but can accommodate 2 without issue, beyond 2 adults it will be tight and crowded. All & all I am extremely pleased with this tent, would buy it again without considering other tents & would recommend to my friends who are looking for a tent of this size & function.

Very easy set up and tear down. Good size, and easily fits back in bag which is always a plus. Unsure on how it holds up in the rain yet so can’t speak to that. Stakes seem better quality than others I’ve seen. Impressed all around so far.

Pretty nice tent. Water does get in if it rains though.

Excellent. Great height and very roomy. Easy to assemble. Completed assembly in under 3 minutes.
