Should use
I have a PH meter with a wet probe. It is very important to beep the probe in a buffer solution to void it drying out. Also a dry probe will make the auto calibration mode on a high end PH meter fail in some cases as the sensor itself not providing a signal strong enough for the meter to red. pH probes generate very low currents and millivolt levels so allowing the probe to dry out never a good idea.Of your probe is a wet probe it will have arrived inserted into a small pot with a rubber o ring seal.
