Engine assembly
Some of the screws strip out very easily so loctite would be a good suggestion. Plus the solder connections on the battery were weak and I had to resolder them.

Extremely high quality V8 engine kit
A very high quality all metal V8 engine kit. Extremely detailed with all parts fitting perfectly with no modifications needed. Completed over a couple of weekends with a few hours at each session. High cost but worth it if you enjoy engine model kits, the best one I’ve seen. Instructions were reasonably detailed but I found many tutorials online that were even more helpful. I recommend using a mini electric screwdriver. Really enjoyable and would recommend to enthusiasts

A Challenging Piece of Kit
I've barely started assembly yet, but first impressions of this kit are very good. It arrived in a metal box with it's components snuggly contained in layers of taylored foam sheets. The parts themselves appear to be of high quality, all individually identified with the identities referenced in the included assembly instructions. So I'm finding it fairly easy to start building this model, but there is an astonishing number of components and so many are really, really small. A kit for the clumsy and hamfisted it is not. A helpful video of this model being assembled is available on U Tube. A few additional small tools will be needed in addition to what's supplied, but nothing special. It's expensive, but so far I'm feeling it's worth it.
