Edit: Contacting Eve product support is brutal. Slow unhelpful responses. Looks like this unit is going back to Amazon. I really wanted to like this product. I did a lot of research before making my purchase. I understand that defective units can happen but when customer support is this bad I can’t support that type of company or their products. ———- This setup quickly and worked perfectly. This morning I went to check that the schedule had run the it was totally unresponsive. I’ve removed and changed batteries and I can’t get it to do anything. Can’t add it back to the app. Button on the front does nothing.

Replaced a Rachio that would no longer sync after 2 years. Seems to work well. Love that there’s no job needed.

Do not buy. I have had 2 of the old generation Eve Aquas for years and they have been great. These new generation ones are terribly. The included Energizer batteries and Duracell replacements only last a couple weeks. When you have to replace the batteries (way too often), you have to open the device which is extremely difficult to do. Mine broke TWICE when trying to open it. One of the sockets that the pins from the front case slide into on the back case broke off! It has connectivity but the valve won’t operate anymore. The first time, Eve reluctantly replaced it. The second time, they told me to go through Amazon. Amazon pushed back but eventually sent a return label and refunded my money. Bad design. Do not buy.

Mine worked great for a couple months but is now completely unresponsive. Wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.
