I’ll be honest, I was a bit skeptical at first, but after three months of use, I am thoroughly impressed with the Tymate TM8. I bought this for my 2023 Kia Sonet, which unfortunately didn't come with a built-in tire pressure monitoring system. Accuracy & Performance: I’ve cross-referenced the readings with dedicated manual gauges several times, and the TM8 is spot on. For its price range, my research showed this was one of the most precise options available, and it hasn't disappointed. The sensors on the tires are still going strong after 3 months, and I appreciate that they include replacement options/parts in the box. Battery & Solar Charging: I have a UV-protective film on my car windows, which seems to affect the solar charging efficiency. While the "charging" icon lights up, it doesn't seem to gain much juice from the sun alone in my case. However, the base unit lasts about 4 days on a single charge, which is perfectly fine for me. I just plug it in during my daily 1.5-hour round-trip commute, and that’s more than enough to keep it topped up. Setup & Versatility: I chose not to mount mine on the windshield (as you can see in the photo), and it works perfectly fine wherever you place it. It’s a very flexible device. A Note on Compatibility: Based on my research, this is excellent for passenger vehicles and SUVs. However, if you drive a heavy-duty truck that requires pressures over 100 PSI, you might want to double-check, as this model is best suited for standard vehicles. Verdict: Tymate is easily one of the best brands in this category. If you’re looking for peace of mind on the road without breaking the bank, I recommend this one blindly.

I bought this unit for my truck. My tire pressure warning system had malfunctioned and was quoted 600.00 to repair . I am very pleased with this unit. It has already warned me of low pressure in my rear tires after sitting for several months. A really inexpensive alternative to major repairs . Easy to install. You must however remove tire pressure units to put air in tires. So far it's working great.

Easy set up, With the instructions and a Magnifying glass since the instructions is on a very small print. Besides that, The unit should be fully charged via USB C cord before installing on vehicle. Once installed it works great, You can preset the parameters you need per vehicle's Tire Pressure specs . I have purchased 4 of these, and installed them on my vehicles, and I'm thinking of purchasing more for Christmas presents. Great tool to have to be able to see tire pressures in real time, Just in case you have a leak, It will be caught quicker to safely get to a tire shop or in safe spot in traffic. Slow on charging at times is my only reason for not doing the 5 stars

The TM8 itself is a standalone monitor, so you get the simplicity of a dedicated unit without needing to pair to a phone. That can be a plus if you want a dedicated dash display. The bright, color LCD and configurable alarm thresholds make the monitor usable day or night. The solar charging is convenient and keeps the monitor topped up during daytime driving; USB charging is there as a fallback. In short: excellent for real-time monitoring and alarms.

Seems to be working, display stays on showing TPMS sensors even though my truck is parked in the shade most of the time and often days at a time. Display shows both PSI and temperature of each wheel which is pretty cool - have noticed driving with sun on one side accurately shows temp differences, as well cooling down when car has been parked for a while. Pretty neat! Plan to set up a Raspberry Pi or something to log TPMS readings via SDR dongle. Installation was easy, came with adhesive to attach to windshield. Sensors were already paired to the device. No problems to report! This was one of the cheaper products on Amazon with high ratings. There was a cheaper one that appeared to be defective. Happy to report this one seems to work great!

Works just as it should so far so good. I’ve been using it for about a week now.. good piece of mind while on the road. I like that it works off of solar power after the initial charge! Would recommend.

Easy to setup but for some reason one of the reading always sets off the alarm and flashing. For example, I set them all up with 34psi in the tire on a quality gage and this read them at 36 and 37. But after a couple days I turned it on and it alarmed on one of the tires that was 37. That’s only about a 3% difference despite the instructions saying it alarms (loudly) at 25% high and 10% low. 1 button silences the alarm though so no big deal. The solar feature keeps it going all day too
