This is it!
After an early demise of my kitchen aid K400 (absolute garbage), I did a little sleuthing and came across strong recommendations for the Chefman Obliterator. I saw a black friday sale and decided to pull the trigger - for $50, I couldn't really go wrong. Wow. This blender is incredible. It's quiet, powders dry ingredients and purees wet things very quickly, and is super easy to use and clean. It does everything better than the kitchen aid while costing a fraction of the price. I'm super impressed. The only drawbacks are that there is no off switch, so it has some constant power draw when plugged in, and if you overfill the lid will leak a little. But the latter is probably by design so hot ingredients don't build up pressure when blending, and easily avoided. We'll see how long it lasts, but even if I get two years it will have lasted longer than the Kitchen Aid for far less cost.

Unpleasantly loud, but otherwise fantastic blender for a reasonable price
Okay, first of all - other reviews I saw said it was loud, but I wasn't clear if it was just loud the way most blenders are or not. Nah, this thing is LOUD loud, even for a blender. Our cats aren't even scared of the vacuum cleaner, but they're hiding under the bed when this blender comes on. That said - I am picky about my blenders. If I'm going to make a smoothie, I want it SMOOTH. No chunks of frozen fruit, no carrot mulch or shredded leaf texture. For the price (purchased on sale for under $60), this one delivers great. Small seeds (such as raspberry seeds) don't get ground up 100% of the time, but I've made several thick smoothies with ingredients such as whole frozen strawberries, raw carrots, and spinach leaves, and they've come out with a pleasant and uniform texture. I appreciate that it comes with a tamping stick to push ingredients down while it's running, and that all the pieces that touch food are dishwasher safe - although I haven't even had to put it in the dishwasher so far, because it also has a dedicated cleaning cycle on the blender itself. You put a bit of soap and water in and let it run, and it usually just needs a rinse. Comes clean nice and easily as long as you wash it before things dry on. I'm very happy with this overall!

GETS IT DONE!
I went with my gut purchasing this blender based on ratings and so glad I did. It's awesome! I hoped it would be comparable to my old Vitamix and not disappointed. Mostly use for frozen fruit/kale/greens/ice smoothies and kills it! There's really not a thing I don't love about it. Love smaller size, love design, love POWER, love control options, love price. Unbelievable bargain. I confidently recommend this blender for anyone who loves a fantastic deal on a quality product.

Works well, for about the first 8 times it was used. Do not buy!
This was a great blender…..until it broke. It was used once a week(at most) to make a smoothie. It did a very good job. However, a few months in, it broke. The part the attaches from the body to the jar and spins the blade is turned by a piece of plastic. This plastic piece predictably broke and now I have a paperweight.

Performs Well!
This blender blended the soft items well, but it did not blend the chia seeds to my satisfaction.

Super great blender
Super great blender indeed! I researched many blenders and finally decided on the Obliterator. If the blender did not work well, I knew I could always fall back on a Ninja, but no need. The Obliterator works extremely well for my smoothie needs. No frozen banana chunks left like my Breville blender would leave behind. The unit is extremely powerful and more quiet than expected. The jar is easy to clean and light when filled with my smoothie, unlike bulky glass blender jars. The unit is sleek and contemporary in style.

Excellent buy
This is a half step below a vitamix. It’s truly impressive. I’ve owned everything from your basic dollar general blender to a vitamix over the years. This is not as good as a vitamix but at this price point it is surprisingly close and a very good value. I have had it over a year now and the only issue I have found is that you must hold the top on when using the clean feature. The top will blow off and your counter will be covered in suds. Otherwise I have zero complaints.
