nice and compact, easy to use, and the prints are pretty good quality and definition for the affordable price. I used it for both photos and scientific papers (all black and white, of course.)

You do need the right paper for this to print, but once you have that it’s actually pretty cool to have especially if you work remotely or travel for work and need things printed out without making trips to a front desk or a UPS. Very handy and portable. I’d mainly recommend it for business or university since you need to print a lot of paperwork. It does do artwork, but I would rather do that on an actual printer where I can have more control over the quality. Having to use this with a phone can be really great or kind of frustrating depending on how easy it is for you to navigate your phone and apps. For me it wasn’t a big deal once I got it all setup. Minor issues with connectivity at times but I fixed it eventually.

First off, I don't love that this printer prints upside (unlike it shows in the pictures) from others I've tried and it's rather loud. That coupled with the patch first print almost had me leaving a much lower star rating initially. However I decided to try it with some other thermal paper I had on hand and it printed much cleaner on that paper. I tried both types of paper in the other thermal printers I have and found the same thing, the sample paper provided with this printer causes patchy printing. Now that I know it's not the printers fault, I feel 4 stars are appropriate. It prints documents well and can even print black and white photos decently. It's mid sized compared to my other thermal printers, slightly bigger than my smallest but still much smaller than my biggest. I mostly use this one at home and take the smaller one when I travel. I wish it had paper guides to line the paper up so I could print evenly in the center of the paper every time. I also wish it didn't print upside.

Printer arrived very quickly and the one year warranty was activated straight away. Very easy to set up, lightweight and can be taken anywhere. Great little printer and the company are so professional and responsive. It was great to get rid of my big heavy laser printer. I am so happy!

I have only recently bought this compact printer and I have been very impressed with its performance and its utility. You can carry it around with you and print wherever you like! No ink for this printer. You only require the appropriate paper. The quality of the printing is quite surprising! I recommend buying this compact and useful printing device.

It does make good looking stencils, HOWEVER- standard A4 paper, which is the size that most stencil paper is, does not fit in this machine and is too wide. The app is very annoying to use because it is filled with ads and you have to pay for a subscription to get the ads turned off. also, the sizing feature is very confusing to use and not accurate.
