I was a little hesitant to order these based on some of the reviews, but glad I ordered them anyway. They are sturdy, super quick and easy to install without tools, and a great price for one but you get a free spare. It effortlessly holds a large, full water bottle without straining. Grip will only fit an average size, round bike frame, so make sure there is location on your bike to accommodate it and the clearance required to pull the bottle out of the holder. Initially it did slide around a bit, but I was able to adjust the rubber pad and tighten it to lock in place after a few attempts. Now, even with a larger and heavier metal water bottle it doesn't move.

I think I like these clamp on water bottle holders so far. It was easy to attach and even had a little piece of rubber which added to the grip of it when attached. I have a Brompton, and my bike didn’t come with anywhere to add a water bottle. But i guess as it’s a commuter bike, i guess they don’t feel that you need to drink water? The holders are quite adjustable so you can put in a number of places on your bike, depending on how thick/thin the piece you are attaching it to. It feels a little narrow, so really thick water bottles might be an issue. I would say that the plastic material seems to be a bit on the flimsy side, but it also looks like it would bend before it broke. It was really inexpense for two pieces, so I really wasn’t expecting much. But pleasantly surprised by its quality.

Not great but you get what you pay for. Issues: 1. Doesn't have a strong clamp. you can tighten it a lot but on a metal bike frame, it still moves around and gets in the way of my legs. 2. It's not a very strong plastic 3. You need to use something like a rubber band to hold your bottle in place. Unless gravity is enough to keep it in place while you're riding fast. This product would be great for casual slower paced bike rides. But not great for fast road or mountain biking

These are plastic, but they seem to be very sturdy and can be easily adjusted. If you want to relocate, removing them is easy thanks to the quick release on them. They’re very light, in weight, but strong enough to hold a big gulp from 711. Would definitely recommend, as they’re easy to use and can be adjusted to go vertically or horizontally!

Love these and they are sturdy and did not break off when I fell on mountain bike. You must tighten well to keep in place but once secure it is very sturdy. Great for mountain bikes where you want an extra water but nowhere to add a bracket

We ride our bikes 5 miles every day and we time our laps with an iPhone. We like to listen to YTube while riding but, if one person is playing the audio, the other has to stay close enough to hear it. We have two JBL Flip 5's which are Bluetooth speakers that can be linked together to play the same thing simultaneously. So that's how we gained the flexibility to not ride side by side all the time during the outing. BUT...we needed something to hold the flip5's to the bikes within reach of the volume controls. These clamp on water bottle holders are the ticket and literally make this set up possible.

the bottle holder is okay, it is soft plastic so holds many sizes of bottles, and they don't fall out. the mechanism to hold it to a bar is a waste of money... it does not hold at all (tried it on my handlebars). and if you do it very tight, it still doesn't hold but the plastic deforms. If it was made of metal it may have worked, but it's made of soft plastic so can not do it tight enough to actually hold. Have not even tried going for a ride with it, because could not hold a 500ml bottle standing still... let alone with bumps from the road. I would have given it 1 star, but I ended up taking the bar clamp off and then using it with a different bar clamp, which I purchased from eBay for $7, that is made out of aluminum.

They are great but I had to take some double sided tape and placed it inside the clamp. It now holds and does not drop down anymore. Great quality just needed a little help with keeping it solid and not slipping down.

Does the job, but cant tighten them enough to stay in place. Go over a bump n you loose your slurpee all over your leg.
