I bought this for my babies spit up and gas issues and it seemed to help. Unfortunately I paid for the 5 ml size, which should have lasted 25 days. I received a 2 ml bottle, which only lasted 10 days. I did not realize the size was wrong until I ran out so quickly. These drops are expensive as is, but paying full price for 10 days worth is insane. I don't even see the 2 ml size advertised, so the description is very misleading since the amount I received isn't even an option. It is very disappointing because they seem to help my baby, but I cannot afford the cost for such a little amount, so I will not be able to purchase again.

When researching probiotics for our colicky baby this one was frequently recommended so we eagerly and hopefully tried it for a solid month. It made baby even MORE gassy and stopped her from stooling altogether. She would go 3-5 days without pooping and have incredible, green, foul-smelling poops at the end of these periods. She was fussier than ever. When we stopped, her stooling pattern returned to normal, color turned back to normal, and she started having quiet awake periods for the first time ever. I’m so sad this was our experience.

I got this product on June 28 and today is July 18, but bottle was empty on Jule 14. I have no idea why this product ends so fast even though I used it daily only 5 drops. That’s so weird. I ordered it second time and will see how long this bottle will be used. As for the effectiveness, it seemed to be good, the result was a little noticeable. but it takes more time for the result to be noticeable enough to say that it’s worth buying. but the product either leaks out or runs out so quickly that it lasts for 10 days, it’s frustrating.

I purchased this in hopes to alleviate my 4 month olds mild gas discomfort. He struggles getting gas / poop out most at night so I ordered this to hopefully allow him (and me) some longer restful nights. However Instead of mild discomfort, he was in extreme discomfort. Before the drops he’d wake up every 2-3 hours and was relatively easy to get down at night. Occasionally he struggle with a toot or poop that could take up to half a day to relieve. I tried these drops for three days and immediately noticed a decline in his sleep. It climaxed the third night when he SCREAMED IN SEVERE AGONY FROM 11 - 5 in the morning. I stopped the drops the next day and he was back to his normal sleep pattern. The realization I caused this by giving it to him made me feel like the worst mom on earth. This did NOT work for my baby. I suggest spending a few hours on research on the product and making more of an informed purchase than I. I also suggest careful monitoring the first night before deciding to continue dosage. I had no idea it could have such a negative effect and it took me 3 nights and more research before I connected the dots. The bottle is small. It is 25 servings. So while small, it is tiny and mighty (in my case, way too mighty). Even if this had worked, I think the price point is a tad high. Every baby and tummy is different. I will never buy again but just do your own research and proceed with caution if you do buy. It may be the miracle it claims for your baby but it was NOT for mine.

I don't have a way to prove the connection (yet) but I am pretty sure this caused significant issues for my son. He is currently in the PICU with an abdominal infection. The ONLY thing that changed within the week before he ended up in the hospital was I started using these. If I had the means and resources to prove it, I would. I have a feeling I am not the only one that had their babies go through pain and discomfort because of these drops. I hope this company does not face a lawsuit in the future because honestly I sense they are the cause of my son's current issues. On top of that, I had to order two of these because Amazon told me the first one was delayed in shipping so I ordered another one. So then I paid for two bottles of this study that I am pretty sure caused my son so much pain.

Caution when buying this item. It didn’t work for my baby (tried it the day I got it) and they don’t accept returns for this product. So now I’m out money for an ineffective product. Also beware, the carrier oil is sunflower oil which is a seed oil. Super inflammatory and unhealthy, especially for babies. This product markets itself as “healthy” when it’s not.

Wow—bought this for the same reasons as everyone else. After giving my one month old drops for the first time today- I’m not kidding she HASNT SLEPT! She somehow is incapable. She had green diarrhea for the first time and that’s what prompted me to come back here and look at more reviews. And sure enough, all the one star reviews are what happened with my daughter today. I also never leave reviews (but use them religiously when shopping!) but I had to come here and tell other people to watch out- these 5 drops did some serious damage today. So much crying. So upset. So uncomfortable. I thought she had a fever at one point cause she would get clammy and sweaty. Fall asleep for a few minutes and then back up wired, ALL DAY!! She’s one month old- this is insanity. I can’t imagine how crazy things would have gotten if I continued on nor realizing these were the culprit. Anyway yeah- read the one star reviews. These drops made newborn life a billion times harder than it already was.

Got this to help with my daughter’s constant vomiting. Gradually went up from 1 drop in a bottle per day to 5 drops per day to try not to upset her stomach more. After a few days at 5 drops she started to get horrible gas pains so I stopped the drops and after about a week of not being on them it has gotten better. Honestly I don’t recommend this. I had to give her stomach massages and use the windi sticks multiple times a day or she would be in a lot of pain from the gas.

It took about 3-4 days to kick in and helped my baby to digest better. It really hurts to see my baby suffer from constipation and I can't thank BioGaia enough to relieve this pain from him.
