Works out of the box. Solid running 24/7 since mid August. It is now September. No overheat at all.
This works out of the box, due to it being "identical" to Nvidia's official developer Orin Nano version. All we need to do is install Ubuntu on a 512GB SD card to get it up and running. The unit is solidly built, running "cool" inside a KKSB case. It is a bit tricky to get the Orin Nano into the case when the two camera cables are fitted, but it does fit nicely. The outsite antenna that came with this unit sold by YahBoom cannot connect to the Orin Nano antenna board! Yahboom does not offer an exchange, but the internal antenna works fine for Wifi. I did not take away 1 star for this.

Yahboom trash, Nividia good.
I accidentally left it online overnight. It updated and now won’t boot. I’ve spent 2 days trying to fix the issue but given the hardware is locked to “Yahboom” I have to do everything their way. If I had known I would have gotten one directly from Nividia. It’s not even compatible with the Nividia software, you have to build it with yahbooms extra garbage. There is no SD slot to boot that way. Make sure you have a Linux device in case this happens. I’m in the middle of a huge project, was really excited to get the Orin for it, it’s been a huge waste of my time and cutting close to deadlines. It’s a beautiful device, Nividia did a fantastic job. For more versatility, ease of setup and use, buy from Nividia. I probably will get another one I can setup properly. One more gripe, the Jetson was packed great being in its packaging from Nvidia….. everything Yahboom was just tossed in the box like it was trash, including the bubble wrap. There was no purpose for the single sheet of wrap just floating around with all the rest of the components. This was a poor experience all around. I’ll get things to work. Might have to buy an official product to meet my deadline of last week…
