Compatible with my tv
Worked straight out of box, after fitting own batteries.Only issue was when pressing mute button it was pushed into recess and didn't pop back out, so not usable now. However, the sound +/- buttons still work so not really an issue. Was a good price to be able to get my TV working again. I may have just been unlucky with the mute button

Doesn't pair with more obscure TV makes
This was purchased for my neighbour who is elderly and has very poor eye sight to replace an old worn out remote,and so I wanted to find one with bigger buttons. This indeed fits that requirement and he was delighted. However his TV is not a common brand and I spent an hour trying to follow the instructions to put in more than one four digit code ( there were about 10 different codes!!) to pair his Techniks TV to the remote with no success and no response - the TV would not even switch on from standby. It seems from those positive reviews previous to mine regarding this remote that unless you are trying to use this with more common brands eg. Sony, Panasonic, LG, etc. that one can use the number keys from 1 to 9 on the remote associated with these brands this will not pair easily if at all. The instructions are not intuitive at all,continuing to describe linking to the original remote and without any explanation of whether each subsequent step is necessary or why. So in summary unless you have a well known brand of TV this will not be easy to set up and requires more patience to understand the instructions.

Efficace
Commander il y a deux jours reçu aujourd’hui. Nous avions perdu la télécommande de notre Apple TV (la télécommande grise comme sur la photo). Il nous a suffit de mettre les piles et d’allumer l Apple TV pour que la télécommande se connecte toute seule. Elle est plus épaisse et grosse plus difficile à perdre du coup. Pour le moment fonctionne bien à distance.
