Great product. very roomy takes ringbinders and laptop. lots of space in various zipped compartments as well as net side pocket.The main compartment zips are hidden which i think makes it harder for the opportunist pick pocket. Heavy duty fabric too. The only thing that i would like to see is an additional chest strap for the days when ive been to the library and am realy loaded up. But pack is realy good and im happy with it in all ways. 11 years later this bag is still looki g good. Zips still working and back straps as good as new. What a brilliant purchase

The quality is it one of the best. The design is ergonomic, fits most basic necessary items for backpacks travel,multiple pockets. The durability is strong.

Purchased for my 8yr old daughter, this is probably a bit more expensive that I would normally want to spend for a school bag. However, it is a good quality backpack, big enough to hold all her bits and pieces, swimming kit, PE kit etc, and it is waterproof so no more soggy books! It certainly LOOKS like it might stand up to the ruff and tumble of school life - time will tell - if it does last, it will certainly be well worth the money. The zip certainly LOOKS robust - the zip tended to be the first casualty on other bags which rendered them useless. I am hopeful this one will last. Delivery was swift.

Rucksacks not yet used as we purchased them ready for the summer. They are intended to replace existing rucksacks which have simply worn out. We cram them with cameras, binoculars and books etc when we travel abroad to business seminars and holidays etc, taking them as hand luggage on the plane. Most rucksacks seem to be aimed primarily at hikers and campers, so their design and build quality is often much less suitable. Jansport rucksacks are rugged and designed to carry student textbooks etc, so they are much better for what we need. Heavy duty, robust - and cheaper than many alternatives. We are very pleased! I'm really pleased with this rucksack. It's great for taking on holiday it just seems to expand and expand to fit your needs and its got loads of pockets. It's also a lot smarter than the average hiking rucksack so it's great for taking on holiday/flights.

I bought two of these bags two years ago for my children who are both in high school. The bag is large enough to fit in all the books and textbooks they need for the day and also their p.e kit (with trainers). It also has handy compartments for their money, keys, phones, pens and space to fit in a lightweight coat in case it rains!! I have washed these bags several times and they still look great. I would definitely buy this bag again.

I love this bag! I was really struggling with my old nike bag to fit all my work in it but this bag somehow fits it all in and has so much room left to spare! So many pockets, and a place for a water bottle. I’m so pleased, was worth the money. Plus I got it really quickly. All round good experience. I hope it lasts long. - edit a year later, it does last long, just took it to Glasgow summer sessions and is still about as good as the day I got it!!

I had to get rid of my old JanSport backpack I'd had for several years, due to issues unrelated to quality but urgent nonetheless. I bought the Betsy Floral print in a hurry online, so I was not spending too much energy comparison-shopping with patterns or styles at the time. Once it arrived, I was plesantly surprised. I didn't know if this print would look tacky, but as a female 30 yr old, I have gotten many compliments on my bag in several different cities. I have always liked the quality of JanSport backpacks and this particular "big student" style is my favorite because it has the extra pockets, fits my laptop, and is very durable. (It's my perfect airline carry-on!) This bag is great and has reinforced my customer loyalty to the brand.

I started nursing school this semester and that meant a lot of books to carry. I was so excited to get this backpack because I saw others with it at school... it did not disappoint! I am amazed by how much I can put in it: six large books and a laptop fit comfortably in its various compartments. And it has a few smaller compartment where I put my schedule, pencils, smaller books, lunch and snacks. The drink holder on the side is large enough to fit my Camelbak water bottle. It gets pretty heavy with all that that you could put in it, so I'd be careful about that if you have back problems. It's sturdy, helps with organization, holds everything I want it to and then some, and as a bonus comes in lots of color options. AWESOME purchase. I DO suggest this backpack to anyone who will listen. I love it!
