TPRC Sierra Madre Duffel Bag, Black, 30" Rolling

Superb product. Very thick material, not thin like other bags we have ordered in the same price point. Zipper is sturdy, lots or storage pockets. Roller works well. It seems this bag also balances standing up better than most. We have had one airport trip and it worked as a carry on. Hold a lot more than your standard carry on suitcase. Will order this one again, but it seems this one will hold up for a long time.

Very nice bag and as described. appears to be of good durability for "part time" use. Not sure it would hold up well for the full time, constantly loading and unloading worker/traveler. As an older couple I found the size larger than I expected, probably, in hind site, would have ordered the next smaller size for the 2 of us on weekend trips. Otherwise, great purchase.

I bought the 21" for traveling to Ireland. It was perfect size for all flights, and held all my items for 10 days of travel. Yes, thats correct, I had that bag and my personal item. Used it two years later for a 12 day trip to New Zealand and Australia. I have two small complaints, yes it does wobble if you need to run through the airpirt. The other is, the stitching is coming undone at the zipper. Mind you, I have used it consistently in my travels for 2.5 years. I think its held up. Ill take it to have the stitching repaired.

This is so nice!!! I needed a rolling duffle bag so I could use for my bulky stuff when traveling and not be overly huge. This is well made and compact enough for my 2 blankets and 2 pillows that I always travel with. It has a separate zipper compartment on the bottom which is nice! It has three separate zipper compartments as well for smaller stuff. This is definitely worth the money. it also has a pull bar that I can roll it easy with.

I ended up ordering the "used, like new" option of this because I seldom have need to pack heavily. I was visiting family over Christmas and didn't expect to receive so many gifts, so I wanted something inexpensive, as it is unlikely I would have reason to use it again. I really didn't care if it fell apart on the trip, so I wasn't disappointed. I was actually pretty dazzled and impressed when it arrived. It was not the color I expected, but the same dimensions and design as listed. It had the tags still attached and looked brand new. It's a lot of bag for the money! I really like that it has 2 horizontal compartments that open independently of each other. The downside that I suspected immediately is that it does not stand steadily when upright to use the handle, but if you anticipate that I was highly impressed at how well it pushed or rolled. It was an ease to maneuver! I was actually able to stand behind it and push it like a cart, through a very large international airport. I was ready to give it a raving 5 star review, until... The exterior has 3 zippered outer pockets. Roomy enough. Once I finally arrived home at 2 am I was fumbling with my keys and stepped on and nearly tripped on something rolling on the ground. Once I got in and got the lights on, I noticed it was my Tarte Cheek plumper. I had left a trail of my cosmetics all the way from the trunk of my car! It was in the side pocket closest to the wheels and that pocket had ripped open, and the contents had been working their way out. I would not recommend putting anything of value in that pocket. Additionally, TSA made me remove and discard my pepper spray at the check in counter, and that front pocket was difficult to maneuver with the bag in an upright position. I am thrilled with the bag at the lower price option, but had I received it at full price, I would have likely been sour about the malfunction on first use. Ironically, I had been looking for a linen storage solution - and this will serve beautifully for that purpose! It's certainly big enough, and the design will separate towels from bedding for easy access.

This is my medical bug out bag, with copies of all important documents that we need. There are lots of pockets, a place for emergency extra shoes and socks as well. I appreciate the rolling aspect as well.

Keeps everything in good shape and it can hold a lot of stuff in it

I really liked the fact that this rolling duffle had a "lower level" that was similar to a regular suitcase. It has nice extra pockets for shoes or smaller items. It holds a lot, which can be a blessing or a curse. It's hard to fill and have it be under the 50lb limit at the airport. Design flaws - it could use a handle near the bottom of the bag, to help when lifting into a vehicle or off the carousel at the airport. There are no straps inside the bag that you can tighten around your packed items and when you pull it (or it goes through baggage at the airport) everything you packed sinks to the bottom where the wheels are. (reminder-not fully packed because of weight limits). Anyway, I really wanted to love this bag, but to top things off, the zipper on the "shoe bag" portion of the duffel broke the second time through the airport and unfortunately everything in that pocket was lost. I am returning it.
