One thing you are not told is that you have to modify the plastic that holds the ink tubes in place unless you buy different dampers. Review: Part is not good quality - Print head damper quality is not precise, the holes dont have a uniform outer ring. This adapter will not make a good seal with rubber gasket. Don't invest in this part. Image, in the top is the OEM and the bottom is the aftermarket. The holes do not have an even outer ring, this makes ink leak and contaminate the other chanels.

Part is not good quality

Printhead Adapter + Damper for ET-8500 ET-8550
Seems to work well. Make sure you install your print head gasket from factory when installing. Was a little concerned the damper restrains won’t fit these but so far does not seem to be an issue.

Not a proper fit
Assembly was easy but when the print head slides back and worth, the dampers fall out
