Really good, smooth action and feels secure, much better than my original calor version that ended up breaking out of the blue.

It seems regulators don't last the lifetime of a BBQ. This one claims 5 year warranty. BBQ over 10 years old and I do recall having to replace the hose and regulator only 3 years ago which is not great, given the original last at least twice that, but trying to even find the seller (it was not via Amazon), let alone check if there is a warranty beyond 1 year, and if so make a warranty claim, on what is a £10 purchase, was just not worth the effort. I could tell my old regulator was not working as switching the lever to allow gas flow should have moved the little plunger down but I could see nothing was happening. And I could feel from the weight of the gas cylinder that it was not that I had run out of gas. Very easy to fit. I could use my old hose and compression clip. Up and running again in minutes. And I was lucky that it failed when it did. A week later and I would have been using it for a family BBQ!

Perfect regulator for our barbecue and easily fitted.

Worked absolutely fine for the few times I’ve used it, but now, late June 2024, just under a year after buying it, it’s failed - won’t connect to a gas bottle. Allegedly had 5 year warranty but no idea how to claim so I’ll just buy another one from elsewhere
