Perfect for me!
I went back and forth for a long time deciding which Cricut to buy, and I’m really glad I chose the Joy Xtra. It’s perfect for someone like me who mainly makes cards, tags, and small paper projects. It’s easy to use, compact, and does exactly what I need without being overwhelming. I also use ChatGPT to help break down steps and directions when projects feel confusing or overwhelming, which has made crafting much more enjoyable and stress-free. This combination has worked really well for me.

Cricut Joy Xtra.
This is a great cutter. The size is just right for traveling to crops and keeps me from having to bring my full sized (12x12) cutter. It uses an 8x14 mat so it is not as wide as the 12x12 Explore Air2. The titles you can cut will be a maximum of 8" compared to the 11.5" on the Air2. It is Bluetooth and needs a good internet connection. It cuts fast and doesn't have lagging speed like the Joy. It is a plug in, register and connect. You do need a Design Space or an app that gives you designs to cut.
