Playtex actually never fails very comfortable bra

I have such a problem getting a bra to fit correctly. Mostly I cannot even find a DDD cup bra in the stores and if I do, the cups are just not true to size and/or the cup is not ample enough for full coverage and I spillith over the top and out the sides. I've always worn underwires for better support, but because I can't get an ample enough cup, the wires at my cleaveage poke outward, which is noticeable through my top. This and the spill over is not attractive through knits at all. I have tried everything to get a fit. I finally tried a non-wire because the ill fitting underwires were so uncomfortable.This was more comfortable with no wire poke-out effect, but the support and shape under knits was horrible. Finally I decided to order several from Amazon to see if I could find a good bra in my size, which I felt was 40DDD (F). Spent quite a bit of time online picking out some candidates. When I first opened this one, the cups looked humongus and they are lined with a thin layer of foam, which I had never had in a bra before. I tried it on and wow! Perfect fit and support. No more spillage over the top and around the sides. Complete coverage. It had a label on it that said something like "A tee shirt's best friend," and they are right. It does not look padded, just smooth. It gives me great form under my knits. An no wire forcing my breast to spill over. The other bras I ordered fit about like most others I've tried, so back they went. Odd thing is, one of them was also a Playtex, but it just did not provide the coverage like this one. I just ordered my second one and what a bargain for under $20.00. If you have breast tissue from your breast bone to under your arm pit, this one will give you the coverage you need as well as support and form. Give it a try.

Received this today and I’m going to start by saying that I am going to keep it. I don’t know why finding a comfortable, supportive bra is so difficult but I have tried so many and this one, I believe, is going to be as close as I can get. That being said it is very soft. I have not worn it yet, but I will tomorrow so we will see if the rest of what it claims is true. To me, it seems to run a little small. I’m actually a 36C in every bra I’ve ever tried, this one has me at a 36D the band is as I stated slightly on the tight side, but I know new bras are like that, I have 2 other hook places for when it starts to stretch out, as you should. I am just not used to that given the bras that I am replacing are very old and very stretchy and unsupportive. Its been a very long time since I’ve had a new one. I’ve asked several women friends and they all state that, Yes this is how a new bra fits lol. My only complaint so far is that it did arrive with a defect on the outside of one of the cups, which I am really hoping does not grow into a bigger problem down the road. I will be handwashing and hanging it to dry so hopefully that will stop the defect from getting worse. Aside from that, I do like it. The straps are very comfortable, so I’m sure once I get used to having an actual new bra I will be even more happy with it. There is enough padding as well. I am unfortunately, among those women that need to have the padding I cannot go without it. It doesn’t make you look like your stuffed your bra, but yet it takes care of business. Overall, I do recommend this bra. If you don’t like the idea of a slightly tight band. I would go up a size worst case scenario you’ll have to exchange it for the smaller band other than that the D cup does fit my C cup …always make sure you size yourself to the brand as they all vary.

Great support and lift!

I'm the kind of girl who has battled with weight loss and gain all her life, so the girls don't have the youthful vigor of my early 20s. Right now I am a 38D and this bra is on the border of an ok rating. Pros: the pink color is really pretty, the material is soft, and there is very little padding. Not sure why some women are saying this is padded, have they ever seen a VS bra that can practically repel bullets? Those suckers are padded, this is not, this is just lining for nipple hiding. It hides back and side fat pretty nice in my opinion, which is why I kept it. Price is also a major plus. Cons: The shaping is weird, it points your boobs outward a little and flattens near your cleavage. So it is preventing me from having natural looking clevage even for a full figured bra. Many bras seem to have this issue, apparently full figured means restrained cleavage. So my girls poke out a little in the middle and tend to slide together. The padded straps would be great, but no matter how high I hike them the padding doesn't reach my shoulders. In fact the seam between the padding and elastic is sitting perfectly on my shoulders as I write this, leaving imprints on my skin (not comfy). There is about 7" of padded strap, long torso women be warned. Overall it is an improvement over what I was wearing, but I am still searching for something better. I must say I was a little disappointed as I was expecting more from this.

I love the Playtex Bras. They last for years. I have had them for 20 years. These ones have no wire and have a cushion on the cup which is great! Not too thick just perfect! They have various sizes which is also great! I don't mind the price as long as its in my budget. I got 4 this time and will order more because my daughter needs a bigger size. I will keep the small ones. I will purchase more. The fit is soft. The straps are sturdy mainly on top because towards the back the straps are thin but not too thin. I can't say enough!

I've read all the reviews and to be honest how anyone could give this a negative review I will never know? I had complete knee replacement surgery almost a year ago and I am allergic to all opiates and painkillers so therefore I had to go through the entire pain on my own and in that process which was really horrifying. I can take a lot of pain but doing this cold turkey was the worst experience probably in my life and in that process I lost about 30 lb in less than 3 months. Therefore find me a bra to fit me actually I've been trying to find one for the last 3 years but anyway I just ordered three others.. one Playtex, Olga, Werner and had to send them back, but this bra met oj all the expectations that I have been looking for. It gives me great support it's very gentle around the Brass Band . The straps fit perfectly and are very adjustable and to be honest I can't say enough good about this bra but I'm so thankful that I found it because it has been a long journey trying to find the perfect bra and I have to say. THIS IS THE PERFECT BRA. ....HANDS DOWN.

I have successfully worn this bra in a 44D for years. I recently went to the retail store and because of weight loss I was measured to a 40’’ band. They only had 40DD in the store and the cups didn’t fit right but the band and straps were fine. Using the formula of up a cup size for each band size down I bought this 40DDD online. The DDD cup was much better however the particular bra I received, although the correct size, was extremely tight and stiff in both the band and straps. When I tried to stretch the band a little and adjust the straps to make them longer, the material sort of squeaked. Plus the straps were so short, I could not extend them to be long enough! As I said, I have worn this bra for years and the material has always been soft and supple and there was plenty of strap material to adjust. Either the specific bra I received was manufactured at a different factory or defective, or maybe even a knockoff, but unfortunately I need to return it. Anybody else get one that was stiff and “squeaky” Another question, I ordered the model that I have always worn but I see there is a “new” choice with a lace “side panel” Has anyone ordered that one who has previously worn the usual style? Is it shaped differently than the regular model, are there differences in fit or anything else besides the lace addition?

This garment is lightly padded, which was a question I did put to Amazon purchasers but didn't get any replies. In the end decided to buy and see for myself. It is a full cup and well shaped.

I have never been so pleasantly surprised by the fit of a bra in my entire life! When they say full coverage and support, they mean it! I don't think the "ladies" have ever been perched up this high before😅. The support is unmatched. Extremely comfortable. Fewer pinched neck nerves because the weight that needs supporting doesn't rely solely on the straps to do all the hard work. I will buy more for sure!! I recommend doing a proper bra size measurement and calculation for best results. You can find free tutorials online. No word of a lie, they are life changing and affordable.

The shoulder straps are a bit tight. Not a lot of room to adjust them. Other than than it is a nice bra.

Amazing Bra. Finally found one that works perfect. Very comfortable and holds up nicely. Ordered a couple more.
