ledmo Photocell Sensor, Auto On Off Dusk to Dawn Switch, Twist Lock for LED Barn, Area, Street, Parking Lot Lights

I used this to replace the old photocell on a metal halide fixture. It took less than 1 minute. All I had to do was to twist the old fixture counter-clockwise about 1/8 of a turn and then pull up on it. It came out of the keyed slots. Then installing this one was just the reverse. I flipped the breaker back ON and climbed the ladder. After holding my hand over the photocell for about 30 seconds, I then heard a click and the light came on. Perfect, easy and compatible. It will probably work with most outdoor lights that feature this kind of top mounted photocell.

Over the last two years I have purchased and installed more then than 500 LEDMO lighting products and they have not yet let me down. I normally do not right reviews, however I felt I must sit down and write this one. I will amend this review if my experience changes. Everything about this purchase was greater than expected. The quality of the lights are incredible, the shipping was quick and the lights were packaged to insure that damage was virtually impossible. We mounted these lights about two feet above ground level and aimed them up to the canopy of our Trees. The results were breath taking. See the attached photos for yourself. Cost effectiveness because of the great price of the lights and low cost of operating them. Excellence because of the product quality and lumens per watt. We have received many compliments about the look of the lights and the amount of light during the three months we have had them operational. I would definitely recommend this product.

They were easy to install, however, the fixtures still wouldn't turn on. I'm not faulting the photo eyes though as I believe it is the age of the light fixtures themselves. So, while I can't vouch for the photo eye's value and functionality, I can vouch for the easy-to-install value.

i removed the old photocell and installed this one. Has worked for months now every night.

Just what I needed

Tried it, it didn't work

I purchased this to replace one in my security light. The light began to pulse and flash, so I assumed it was the sensor. Apparently, the sensor outlives the light because it did not solve my problem. I purchased a new light and now have three sensors that all work fine. I wish/hope the light lasts more than the 3 years of life I got out of the first light. The sensors are very easy to replace.
