Are these too big for a 10 yr old?

Not at all. They have adjustable straps if needed.

Does it break easily?

They are good quality foam and work well for light playful strikes but be aware after any serious sparring they will show damage, nicks, dents, missing foam pieces. For the price I am very happy with them.

does it come in different colors?

The sets that I sell are black! Honestly I have not seen in any other color!

Can it hold real katanas

Probably not, the plastic on the holder is to soft, it probably brakes with real ones
