Finding off-the-rack denim that fits a muscular or broader frame properly is usually a nightmare, but Levi’s Gold Label nailed the proportions on this athletic cut. Fit and Silhouette The engineering of this fit is exactly what it claims to be: The Upper Half: There is a distinct, noticeable roominess through the glutes and thighs. You can squat, bend down, or sit at a desk for hours without the fabric binding, pulling, or pinching. It fits similarly to a relaxed jean at the top. The Lower Half: Right around the knee, the fabric tapers down into a clean, straight leg opening. This prevents that sloppy, wide-leg look and allows the hem to sit cleanly over sneakers, work boots, or loafers without bunching up or dragging on the ground. Fabric and Flex Performance The material blend (99% Cotton, 1% Elastane) strikes the perfect balance for daily wear. Many "stretch" jeans on the market feel thin, flimsy, or synthetic—almost like leggings. These feel like authentic, substantial denim. The 1% flex is subtle but highly effective; it gives just enough stretch around the waist and hips when moving, but retains its shape perfectly. These for perfect! Just as described. I have did not want skinny jeans and I didn’t want baggy or loose jeans. I have a more athletic build, so they are straight leg with a little more room everywhere you need it. They seem durable and well built, double stitched along the main edges. ..Just ordered a second pair since they fit so great!!

The style (athletic) felt a tad big but for everyday wear, feels good. They were a good inch longer than 32” inseam. I’m hoping multi washings will shrink them a little. These are definitely lightweight material. My main complaint is the smell upon taking them out of the plastic packing! My God, smells like mold! Wash them immediately!

I also appreciate the classic styling—they work just as well with a T-shirt and sneakers as they do with a button-down and boots. The wash (Headlands) has a versatile medium tone that looks sharp right out of the package and pairs easily with almost anything in my closet. A couple of small notes: the jeans do run a touch generous in the waist compared to some other brands, so if you’re between sizes you might want to size down. Also, while the fabric is flexible, it’s not as soft as some premium denim blends—these feel more like traditional jeans with added give. Bottom line: These are solid, comfortable, well-fitting jeans that strike a nice balance between durability and flexibility. A great choice for everyday wear at a very reasonable price.

I'm 6'4" and not a super model. I wouldn't... um, couldn't... do the splits in them. But I can get in the car without worrying they'll rip, unlike most pants which are way too tight for tall mountain man kind of guys. These fit as comfortably as $60 Dillard's jeans. Selvedge sewing and thick oz flex denim for outdoor use for $30 would be reasonable to me. I believe in things being well made. I have no problem with fashion, as long as it does the job for the right price. Mass manufactured can do good sewing. Not hard. Everyone has YKK zippers now. Why not beat that? I'd rather care about a product and improve it. Canvas bell tents > plastic garbage. So these pants are store quality. Not grandpa quality and long term, but not like the Lee's I got off Amazon that had major sewing problems. A little loose thread in the button hole, easily fixed with a flame. But otherwise a great buy. They are very comfortable with a little stretch in the fabric. Thin, but not paper thin. Just not heavy duty. Great for daily wearing. The only flaw I've found was small. The hole for the button above the zipper had a bit of loose thread in the inner circle. A quick flame will fix it easily enough. Otherwise, no issues. The Pittsburgh color is slightly darker than the picture, like a hint of deep ocean blue in it. It got a compliment for the color right out the door.

Bought these for my hubs for Christmas, his bootie looks soooo cute in these. Great stretch, easy to work in, great value for money, will be purchasing other colors, great durability as he likes to work in these. The size is exactly as described. Some people mentioned a smell... I dint notice any smell? Great thickness. We really like these.

Thank goodness they finally started offering jeans for those of us with "Athletic Builds!" I have, effectively, no waist indent (straight sides), sturdier legs, and feel more comfortable in a low-cut jean. These fit the bill! Same Levi's quality, great fit, not outrageously expensive! These are basic jeans, not fancy ones. But for what I use them for (gardening, working, etc), they're perfect!
