I use an RE20 dynamic microphone for my voice work because it sounds incredible. However, it is a heavy mic, weighing in at about two pounds. I purchased a different microphone arm from Amazon, but had to return it because it could not smoothly handle the weight and would not stay in-place. That's when I found this great TODI mic arm! This is a great mic arm - handles the heavy RE20 effortlessly, the friction of the articulation sections is perfect - not too stiff, easily adjustable with included wrench. It is very well built and feels like a solid piece of professional equipment. The cable clips work and it just looks so much nicer without all the springs and double bars, etc. I recommend this TODI mic arm without any reservations. The price is great, it just works and it looks nice. What else could I want from a mic arm? 😆

Very good stand for the price, This stand doesn't feel cheap or clunky like the stands that uses a spring system. This stand feels durable and extremely sturdy which easily supports my Hyper X Quad cast with no issue, it doesn't slowly sinks down because of the weight of the mic. It have really good mobility and is compatible with most standalone microphones from what I can tell.

The arm comes assembled, so you just have to attach the C-Clamp bracket to the arm (which takes seconds). Works very well attached to my desk. Once tightened / adjusted (with the included Allen key), the arm / joints stay in place, resisting the gravity place on the microphone. The ONLY thing I think that would make it better, is if the Mic Mount rotated 360 degrees (from the plane of the mount), either via a ball-head mount, or pan-tilt mount. As it stands now, the Mic can rotate in a 180 degree arc on its end of the mounting bracket, and the other end of the mounting bracket end that is attached to the last segment of the stand, can rotate in a 180 degree arc....but perpendicular to the Mic's rotation. If you're having trouble visualizing this, here's a good visual. Think of a clock face. Think of the bottom of the MIc, attached to the center of the clockface. Now, imagine the end of the Mic you speak into, coming out of the clockface, towards you. Now, push the top of the Mic left, so that it touches 9 o'clock. Now, lift the top of the Mic, up and over the center of the clock where it's mounted to, and down to touch 3 o'clock. So, you have 180 degree rotation, in that LINEAR arc. Now, bring the top of the Mic back up to top dead center, where it is directly above the center of the clock. Now, tilt the top of the Mic down to touch 6 o'clock. Now, lift the top of the Mic up and over the center of the clock, and towards 12 o'clock. So, you have a 180 degree range of motion in that LINEAR arc. But, the Mic can only move from 9-to-3, or 6-to-12....so, you're missing being able to have the Mic at the 1, 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 10, 11 positions...so, very limited range of motion, in that sense. Not a deal breaker, as most people "set-it-and-forget-it," but for some of us who move the Mic arm away, around, etc., it'd be nice to have as much range of motion for the Mic as possible. With a ball-head mount, commonly found on Tripods, you'd be able to have pretty much a FULL range of motion to be able to get the Mic into ANY position that you needed it.

No complaints! The clamp is plenty secure, the arms moves decently well, joints stay put if you tighten them down and don't seem to loosen with use once you get them where you want them in general.

I've been able to adaptively attach this mic arm to nearly anywhere I need it. it's been great to help me get the mic off the desk and kill feed back and reverb it would otherwise have. love the Allen wrench adaption points. they make this arm entirely stable. just be careful not to over tighten. did everything I need at a great price.

It’s a decently solid mic arm, but honestly that’s it. For the price point there really isn’t a lot going for it other than the metal frame. It would’ve gotten a higher rating if there was more rotating point for each ligament, because it feels as if you’re attaching a straight metal rod with zig zags onto the desk.

Incredibly great tripod and most importantly cheap! I watched a lot of tripod and this one turned out to be the best for the price and quality Very mobile and suitable for any surface One minus is that it is problematic to hide the wires in it, but otherwise everything is fine

I like this Mic Arm, but I suggest that you keep the tool near by to loosen and tighten to desired position (the base and the actual mic mount can move without the tool). You can fold and turn it to the side, but in my experience it's not one of the options that just extends out and folds like that unless you get it tightened to the perfect degree. For me it gradually drooped under these circumstances (before I put the mic on), so if you need a mic arm to move around without a tool to adjust... consider looking elsewhere. If you don't mind readjusting with the tool, just keep it nearby or Velcro it to the side or something. The mic arm is sturdy, looks great, and serves its purpose for me.

كنت متخوفه من المنتج انه غير متماسك لان المايك اللي عندي شبه ثقيل، لاكن جدا قوي وثابت لاكن بين فترات كتباعده لازم يشد مرتب وفيه مسكات للسلك

Minimal and neat . But even after tightening the screws . It tends to fall down . So if u are using a light weighted mic no issue. Iam facing this issue when using rode pod mic .

If you just want the microphone held in one spot, this works great.

Feels solidly built, note it is not possible to get all 3 sections folded together unless you remove cable-tidies, some of the cable-tidies were crushed in transit and non-usable, cannot support the Rode PodMic which weighs 937 Grams
