Winsome Suzanne Kitchen Table Set with Stools, 33" in Coffee, Convenient Stur...

Toss up between 4 and 5. The desire to rate it at 4 is simple. I ordered two of these at one time. One of them has a big crack on the drop table section that is only visible from underneath. It is where a screw goes into a hinge and it was obviously tightened too much. This occurred on the manufacturer's end since the table top/drop leaf comes pre-assembled. It was cracked when I got it but it was not noticed until very close to having it fully assembled. After going through all that work for an inexpensive product during a big move...I didn't have the energy to disassemble it to send it back. The second one didn't have any cracks out of the box. It was a bit quicker to assemble after working my way through the first one. The instructions are good. My hints for assembly include saving the packing included in the box to use to prop up parts if assembling by oneself. The actual instructions are clear but it is hard to hold one piece in place while trying to attach it to another piece...a second set of hands would make it a breeze. The style of the space saving table is what won me over. I bought two to go into a new apartment that really didn't have room for a dining table. For the most part it is just my husband and me. We either eat at the island/breakfast bar or while snuggled up in our love seat. We needed something to accommodate the occasional dinner guests though. The new apartment also lacks decent overhead lighting in the living room so we also needed a way to easily provide lighting. This is where these little tables shine. They are cute accents tables for our new lamps. They generally sit on either side of our love seat. I use the closest drawers for little things like the fan remote, my books, a wee notepad and pen, and coasters. The far drawers hold little things like placemats and napkins for guests. It is a functional little side table. My biggest concern was their utility as dining surfaces. They work perfectly for that. The leaf is adjustable and sturdy. Lock the wheels and you will be quite happy. We've pulled one of the tables out a couple of times for company and we are more than happy. Our guests are also intrigued by the design and function. I will definitely recommend this product despite my cracked unit. I did not make the effort to alert anyone that there was an issue with the first table. I was very happy with the quality of the second product. My husband and I love how functional the space savers are and our guests offer compliments on the appearance and function.

I cannot say enough good things about this item. I read the reviews before buying and asked a couple questions. Here is my opinion about this item and I hope it helps people make a decision about purchasing it. I'll start with the 2 questions I asked. The first was - does anyone know if the stools can be purchased separately and where. I did not get an answer to that one and I haven't found a way to do it. The second question was - can the towel bar be put on the other side. One person answered yes and then a couple others said it could not be put on the other side. The real answer is YES it can be put on either side. Just look at the directions carefully and you'll figure it out. You just have to switch parts A and B by looking at which one has the holes for the towel bar and how they're facing. Many of the bad reviews and complaints were about the table being hard to assemble. You are going to need 2 people for this. It's not impossible to do alone but it's so much easier with 2 people. I've had a lot of experience with u-assemble furniture and this is invariably always the case. You'll have less chance of damaging parts if you have help with it. It takes about an hour and a half to assemble if you have the help. I also read feedback that the holes were not lined up properly. Not the case for me. Everything was beautifully done. All the holes lined up, all the parts were there (you will need a phillips head screwdriver which is not provided), and the wood was solid and high quality. Don't get me wrong, this is not a fine piece of furniture but as u-assemble pieces go this one is as good as you can get. Surprisingly well made. I was pleasantly surprised to find the drawers come already assembled. You just have to put the wooden drawer stops in them, a matter of pushing 4 wooden plugs into 4 pre-drilled holes. Very much like Tinker Toys (if you're old enough to remember those). One common problem with u-assemble furniture is the diagrams. They can be horribly drawn and cause a lot of confusion. I can't tell you how many times I'd get to a point in the instructions and realize I'd put something on backward then have to take it all apart again just because their drawings were so poorly done. These illustrations are very clear. Just make sure you pay attention to the little details and you'll do just fine. The stools are solid and you'll feel secure sitting on them. The upswing is that I am incredibly pleased with this item. Well worth the money. I can't wait to be able to have Christmas dinner at a table!

The table is not 100% what I wanted it to be, but it’s perfect for my kitchen. It is shorter than I thought. The underside of the table was pretty scratched up and did not wipe away. The stools are small I weigh 170 lbs and it felt sturdy but not super sturdy. Assembly was more difficult than I anticipated. However, it is good quality and it will serve its intended purpose. Also, pieces are not labeled at all.

I'm rarely blown away by products I buy. But I can't stop raving in my head about this purchase. So I may as well tell you guys about it! Assembly: it says two people are required. I did it all by myself. I'm 5'4" and 125lb and it took about 25 minutes and a lot of excitement and determination. The trick is to lay everything out like the pictures show and figure out which parts have which alphabetical letters. Then follow the instructions for which alphabetical letters go where. Don't forget to attach the 5th wheel on the moving panel! I thought it was a spare and wondered why the whole thing was rickety. Small issue - if you put all the stoppers on the drawers, they may lock in the drawers so they move together. I didn't want that so I only used the outside stoppers and not the inside ones. So the drawers move independently now. Yes! Look: looks so good. Matches my oak floors. The chairs are so cute and nested. Functionality: I use this table for everything! It's in my small NYC kitchen, and I use it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, plus my computer needs, and sorting through mail. I fold it down and roll it 2 feet from where I use it, for space saving purposes. The chairs tuck in just under the flat surface at the top, super easy. I can see myself repurposing this table quite easily in the future. It's got two small drawers which I use for paper supplies at the moment. But you could put silverware, small hardware objects, paint tubes, etc. in there. Plus, if you take out the the chairs, you'd have storage space under the table for light bulky items. I'll use if for my abstract painting projects in the future. Cost: for $125 I got a table for two, where I can feed a human other than myself, do work, read, plan out my day, work on my laptop, put my sticky notes so I don't forget stuff, what else... Well that's about it. I'm just thrilled. This table now created a little workie workie/feeding nook within my tiny kitchen and is simply a great space saving tool that is super functional and looks terrific. I couldn't be happier!

I have been longing for a drop-leaf table that I liked for many, many years (25 to be exact!). When I saw this one, I fell in love with it. It's exactly the size that I wanted, doesn't take up much space, is easy to roll to the side out of the way and is very attractive. The bonus to me was that it comes with 2 very cute and sturdy stools and 2 drawers. Very handy for working on impromptu projects. No need to scout around for what you need. Chairs are right there and out of the way when not needed. The drawers are terrific for keeping things such as sewing supplies, or bills, or household tools. I personally purchased it as a handy place for me to feed my baby parrots. They need a flat surface to stand on while I syringe feed them their formula. I can keep their syringes and towels in the drawers. Much better than the tv tray that I had been using. This table will give them more area to move around so I won't worry as much about them getting too close to the edge of the table as they do on that tv tray. It was very easy to assemble. I'm a 65 year old woman and had absolutely no problem putting this furniture together. Well-made with sturdy REAL wood. Quite attractive oak finish, which can be re-finished if one chooses. I enjoyed the table and use it everyday. The table is one of the first few items I purchased for my new apartment. I have used the set as a make shift TV stand by using the two stools prior to a proper TV stand would arrive. You can definitely get creative on how you can use the set, and it’s not perfect but as a portable office zoom call table, late night rolling drink caddy, cooking island for the kitchen, amazon package opening station, and a rolling dim sum cart for laughs with guests. The size is great for small apartments and is quite sturdy considering it’s small frame and rinky-dink hardware. The assembly is not too difficult, but the only problem I had was with one of the stools. One of the stool legs was not drilled out properly (must have been two minutes before quitting time at the factory), so I had to create a new hole for one of the assembly bolts. Overall this is a good product. The set is not an antique quality piece from a fancy furniture store, but for what you get and paid for — It’s two thumbs up and a big toe.

The table itself and chairs are pretty sturdy. Takes up little space in my small condo so I like the compact size. The part of the panel that swings open to hold up the folding table leaf always comes disconnected from the hinges and falls off when trying to use. The way it’s designed isn’t great since it doesn’t lock in place. It slides up and down out of the sockets causing it to fall out too easily. The wheels are also very lightweight cheap plastic. one broke pretty quickly. I tried contacting amazon to figure out how to request a replacement of just the wheels and they directed me to the primary website for the sellers store but that site wasn’t very helpful in how to request just parts or even find the specific table I ordered which wasn’t on the site. So im still trying to use with a taped up broken wheel. For that reason I wouldn’t recommend this particular table if you’re going to be moving it around during use, if you’re wheeling it on carpet, or if you’re going to open and close the extender often.

I needed a small table for eating my meals and while I didn't believe this one was what I wanted, bought it anyway. Was easy to assemble and I've been using it for about a week. This table and stools work perfectly! And the drawers were just the perfect size for eating utensils. When not in use, the stools fit neatly inside the table and the leaf folds down and the whole thing rolls to the side of the room. I think it is the perfect addition for any single person or senior's bedroom.

I’m so happy with this little set. Easy to assemble on my own, very sturdy, doesn’t look like I paid 200 Canadian dollars shipping included. The colour is a true Teak colour, glad previous reviewers mentioned that it’s a lot lighter in person. I still love it, I have a really small kitchen with limited counter space. I will use this as a kitchen cart for cooking then flip the leaf up to use as a table if I have a guest. This set is small! I’m not sure what the weight limit is, not flimsy but might not be super comfortable for bigger people. For me it’s just perfect, everything packed well, no scuffs or marks. I’m impressed with the quality and value. I couldn’t find anything like this in my city.

Easy to assemble and looks good, only lost a star as not sure how robust the wood will be once it starts to be used on a regular basis as it seems on the soft side so could dent and mark easily, time will tell. For now though very happy with the item.
