Major Upgrade!
I was looking for a replacement for the slider covers on my Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro headphones, and this kit was the perfect solution. It's a definite upgrade from the original parts in every way. The covers feel significantly more durable, and I'm confident they'll hold up well over time. A major bonus is the integrated slot that keeps the headphone cable neatly in placeโsomething the original design was missing. Not only does this kit improve functionality and durability, but it also looks fantastic and was much more affordable than the official Beyerdynamic replacement parts. A complete win-win!

Recieved 2 left side ones, but not a big deal!
Works great, good quality, nice and durable. BUT I received 2 left side pieces. I was actually very impressed that there was a hole (you can see it in the images, but I did not realize it was there) for the cable to go through, which is not on the original, but then the second piece is the same one. This most likely is a shipping accident, and not sure if others have had this. **It was not a big deal** On one side, I put the cable in, and on the other side, it was like how it was for the original. Everything else so far so good!

Cheap plastic
Installation was not easy and worked great for a few months until the plastic gave way around the screws and they broke again.

Looks cool seemed durable but only lasted a few month
They do not last. I purchased in September 2025 and it is now March 7 2026 and one side had near split and flew off my head and onto the floor. Would appreciate it if the seller would reach out to me

Definitely an upgrade
Really good quality. Much stronger than original. Install was easy and they work flawlessly.

Well designed, making them mirrored would make them 5 star!
Works very well! These come with a hole for the wire which the originals don't even have; I would have given it 5 stars if they were mirrored so that the wire didn't have to cross over on one side, but it's a minor flaw in a piece that's honestly better designed than the original! It might have even been just a packing issue as the product photos seem to featured mirrored pairs. Installation is a bit tricky, sort of a juggling act, but it would be on the originals as well, maybe a little less so because of the lack of wire holes, but that's worth the tradeoff imo. Also just to note/emphasize, it is just the slider covers and not the inner slider! Do not throw out the inserts!

Major weakpoint
Screws are a major weak point. The outside cover literally flew off at mach 100 when i took my headphones off
