This tape works well. I applied over clearcoat sanded to p600 and wiped clean with sprayway glass cleaner. Went over it several times to be sure it was all stuck down. Even spraying candy intercoat clear over it I have virtually no bleeding under the tape. I left this tape on for over a week in some places with no issues. Keep in mind that this was over cured and sanded clearcoat- not sure I would do that over a less stable substrate. This tape follows curves well, and if you mess up a little you can pull it up and reapply as long as it isn't stretched a lot. I would buy this tape again.

This was my first try with pvc tape instead of paper pinstriping tape. Overall I'm satisfied with it. Laying curves was very easy, it trims easily, but you really have to press & ride the tape onto the surface for adhesion. Didn't seem to have any bleeds or tape-lifts when I was painting, and it comes off really well. Aside from having to really ride the tape down, it's pretty good stuff.

I have not used this tape yet so this review is my initial impression upon receipt. All the rolls were packaged together with plastic between them to prevent them from sticking together and make separating them easier. Cardboard was wrapped around the stack of tape and the whole works put in a snug envelope. Even though it was shipped from overseas there were no bends or other damage to the packaging or tape. The edges of all the rolls are very clean - no "fraying" or rough edges at all. The tape is made of a very flexible and stretchy plastic. Be careful when pulling tape from the roll to prevent unwanted stretching. It almost seems like a hard, pliable wax. I removed a short piece to play with it and see how it behaves. If I tried to stretch it too quickly it would break. Stretching slowly reveals that it can be stretched quite a lot before breaking. The tape doesn't seem particularly thick or thin. I would say it's maybe slightly thicker than Tamiya tape and about the same thickness as low tack blue painter's tape (the smooth type, not the crepe type). The tape is low tack. I would say similar to a Post-It. What that tells me is I have to be extra careful burnishing it down and then checking it carefully to ensure it stays down before spraying paint. I also suspect that if I use high pressure and direct the paint at an angle toward the edge of the tape that it would probably lift the tape pretty easily. I don't know why I or anyone would do that but just trying to give an idea of the amount of tack this tape has. I think it will be excellent - particularly in cases where you're afraid masking tape may lift base coats of paint. I doubt this tape could do that unless you left it on for so long that the glue on the tape dried and became permanently adhered to the paint. If I have any problems with it then I will modify this review. If this review isn't modified then the tape worked as well as I thought it would and I didn't encounter any issues with it.

Good for micro masking. Used the tape to mask a custom paint job on a rc scale Vikers Nene Viking scratch build, which has flown.

The rolls came stuck together; I had to pry them apart to get the roll I needed. They should have non-stick paper between the rolls. Additionally, I couldn't get the 1mm to bend around the curve of a window. Other than those two things, the product is as advertised.

very good stuff. could be a bit stickier but its nice you can reapply if you dont get it right initially. curves well and the difference in sizes is nice

I use this for pottery, and it works well for that purpose. I put it on bisqued pieces as a glaze resist.
