What % of Salicylic Acid is in this product?

My dermatologist, from their product information, states it's less than 2% level is considered a damaging peel, rather than developing a natural slough of dead skin cells that .05-1% will do This exfoliates gently, and gradually, avoiding skin damage, thus aiding in healing and repair. FYI - Zote bar soap drastically controls demodex mites which is the #1 cause of skin issues. The mites eat but do not 💩, They live to hang out in damaged skin, they die with all their waste in them, Their water becomes bacteria, and can further develope into a fungus infection.

Does anyone use the SA cleanser for your body? I only see reviews saying people use it for their face.

Yes i do. I have had Lynne disease, chronic Lynne disease, for over 10 years now. I have a bacterial infection that's in my blood that can't be control. Any cut, abrasion, bug bite, or ingrown hair becomes a horrible mess, and can become a deep infection. Prednisone, 5mg twice a WEEK, keeps the information from making things worse. SA products, as well as the liquid wart remover destroy the bacterial infection faster than everything, and i do man e everything, that's out there. Zote bar soap is the other blessing. It kills Demodex mites, and repels blood sucking insects from biting me. It's wonderful for your skin and hair.

Can this be used daily? Since it says it exofoliates.

I have very very sensitive skin and rosacea and this is my daily cleanser (I don't use it just for exfoliation). I've been using this cleanser 2x daily (AM & PM) for over 3 years. Currently I use it before +thayer's witch hazel, the outset serum, Cerave or Humanrace moisturizing cream, supergoop tinted sunscreen or cerave tinted sunscreen). there's nothing else like it. No break outs (pimples etc), no irritation or inflammation, no dryness. Just calm skin. If you want "glowy" skin you'll want to add a serum and/or moisturizer. If you want an exfoliator that's more like a peel, this isn't the right product. It is the only product in my skincare regime that I will not change or replace. For others with sensitive skin or rosacea, I started out with this 1-2x per week and built up frequency to daily and phased out Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser (Cetaphil was great, but for me this was better b/c it exfoliated & cleansed so significantly reduced clogged pores). I find that when I don't use it for more than a week or 2 (like when I forgot it while traveling), my pores around t-zone area are clogged. Doesn't help with rosacea (I have to take dermatologist Rx), but it DOES NOT make it worse which most SA and other exfoliating products do.

Which would be better for my son's acne - the foaming cleanser or renewing SA cleanser?

The foaming cleanser will remove excess oil and refresh the skin without over-stripping it or leaving it feeling tight and dry that is ideal for normal to oily skin. Best face product for pimple prone skin

Nice product for people with specific skin requirements. Specially good if you have recurring acne issues. Personally, had acne and pimple issues since the last 2 years. Every since I started using this... no acne no pimples and no ultimately no marks on face.

Title of texture is changed

Now bottle is changed it's not written for rough bumpy skin. It's written for normal skin . Should we use or not. Whereas in description it's old same for dry , rough skin..

Use with caution

Alert! Really drying so better moisturise well after every use. Exfoliate once or twice a week. It’s an excellent drugstore product for exfoliation. Value for money. Do not treat it as a regular face wash until and unless you have extremely oily skin. Too much dry skin can again lead to breakouts.
