The product works; I had trouble eliminating a bad smell from the tub drain, but green pig fixed it. It didn't work instantly, the smell did go away completely after about 3 weeks. I would recommend this product.

It improved the problem for me. It may do even better for you.

Didn't give me the results I expected to see, but I will give it a few more tries before I give a full review. However for the first use we ended up snaking the drain afterwards because there was still the same amount of standing water in the tub the next day. I'm thinking that the more we use it the better it will work.

We have used this product for a few years now. We lived in a house with very old plumbing. There was a dip in one of the main lines where sludge and other ick would build up. Every six months or so we were having to use an electric snake to clean out the lines. We started using Green Pig once a month in all our drains to help breakdown some of the oils (from pots and pans) and other organic materials to avoid having to deal with the hassle and expensive of snaking the lines. With regular monthly maintenance, we didn't have any issues for over a year! We have since moved and have discovered that our tub and toilet (only one bath in this house, we downsized) will back up for mysterious reasons. This happened shortly after we just moved in and had a plumber come out. He was able to clear the back up, but couldn't figure out what it was or why, even with a camera. We had it happen again a few month later. At that point, we started using Green Pig again on a monthly basis. It has been almost a year with no issues. I highly recommend this product for monthly drain/pipe maintenance. It works!!!

I have been using this for 10 years now and will not buy anything else! You get a year supply; drop a premeasured packet into a toilet every 3 months and you are all set!

We have a big house with lots of bathrooms including multiple sinks and showers. I have periodically had a plumber check out and clean the drains and all is well but sometimes the drains smell, particularly in the kids' bathrooms. I bought this product a couple of weeks ago but I never got around to using it because I saw that you couldn't just pour it but had to melt one the pellets in a bucket of water. I tried other things but finally got around to this one and was really impressed. You drop the pellet in a bucket of water, stir and it dissolves. Then you pour a cup or two down each drain and let it sit for many hours. I did all the sinks, tubs and showers and was really quite impressed with the results. The odor issues are much better and one or two of the sinks that "gurgled" are quiet now. I definitely plan to use it regularly and can highly recommend it.

Did not work as advertised. Actually there is very little evidence that it worked at all.
