I tested this diamond tester on a real diamond, and it worked exactly as expected. The results were quick and accurate, and the indicator lights made it very easy to read. It’s lightweight, simple to use, and ideal for checking gemstones like diamonds or rubies at home. For the price, it’s a great little tool that does the job well — definitely worth having if you want to test your jewellery.

I have loads of old jewelry and often pick up stuff from flea markets. The diamond tester is easy to use, accurate, and good quality.

This product does not come with a battery so be prepared to buy one or order one when you make a purchase, I found the instructions overall quite hard to understand and ended up having to watch some guidance videos on YouTube. Even after watching videos and reading the instrucitons a number of times I did not trust the results.

I bought this a few months ago but had not realised batteries were not included. It wasn't a super urgent purchase as I don't deal with diamonds that often soI only just got a battery the other night. I put it in and within 5 minutes the device stopped working all together. The battery is brand new and the item is very lightweight and seems like it would break at the drop of a hat, which..it did! Bit late for me to return of course, but wanted to warn others.

Initially I was skeptical due to the very mixed reviews, however my experience of the item was very positive, I tested various stones as per the instructions, I had a ring that looked like diamonds to me but without testing, there was no way to be sure, I first tested items that I knew to be diamonds, followed by stones that obviously were not, the tester was able to confirm my suspicions as per my video that the 3rd item tested does contain diamonds. I think this is a great bit of kit for the money and the case it comes with was also great.

Like another reviewer below, I purchased this gadget to identify whether watch glasses were scratchproof synthetic sapphire glass or the lower cost and less scratchproof toughened mineral glass or 'hardlex' (a Seiko proprietary product). Easy peasy - just set the so-called 'volume' to approximately 3, touch the tip of the gadget to the watch glass and voila: a sapphire glass shoots the reading to the top of the scale, a hardened glass leaves the reading steady or at most raises it by 1 or 2. For info, my collection of 'affordable' watches showed almost all had toughened glass. Perhaps surprisingly, the only ones with sapphire glass were the least expensive (Steeldive and Pagani Design models, made in China). I also tested the gadget on costume jewellery and known real diamonds - again, it worked perfectly. Phew - that was a relief!

ダイヤの判別はかなり出来てると思います。ジルコニアにはうんともすんとも反応しません(笑) ノーブランドのシルバーについたクズダイヤでもしっかり反応あり、「えっこれダイヤなんだ」って言うのが何度かありました。 ブランドのダイヤリングだと即座にピーピー鳴ります。流石○○のリングやねえ…と面白いです。 ソフトケース入りで、ダイヤのサイズからカラットを測る物も付いてきました。値段の割にちゃんとしてるなと思いました。 難点は電池がかなり特殊で、Amazonや大型で品揃えがいいホームセンターなどでしか入手が難しいところです。
