For years I used magnetic eyelashes because I am a person that is mindful of the chemicals I put in/on my body. The company that supplied the eyelashes discontinued them so I’ve had to find alternative options. I came across this mascara while at Ulta and it is now my go-to each morning. I won’t echo the same pros as many of the other reviewers but instead, give tips and insight on using this product. Toxicity: EWG gives this product a low 3 rating & states each ingredient is listed is of low hazard. Application: Goes on smoothly with first layer + adds length. Does tend to clump with each subsequent layer. I personally believe one layer is adequate. You can get even longer lashes by applying more layers but it will start to clump and you’ll end up with 6-8 really thick (but long!) eye lashes. I do not like that look so 1 layer it is for me. If your product clumps during that first application, then your product is old/bad. I only buy the small tube because the product always goes bad before it’s empty; even the smaller tube. I also do not “pump” the brush as this introduces air into the tube, drying it out quicker. Easy removal: To remove, all I have to do is wet my eyelashes and the product separates from the lash. I then wet my hands and gently “pull” the mascara off my lashes. No makeup remover needed. I personally despise makeup remover as it’s another product I have to worry about chemically & always burns my eyes regardless of ingredients. Because this mascara is so easy to get off, just know it is NOT waterproof. For my needs, that was perfectly fine.

This mascara is so nice. It goes on without clumping and looks nice and natural, yet at the same time gives a nice full eyelash. Easy to take off and doesn't rip out your lashes like other mascara. Even the tube just feels nice and heavy and elegant. So much better than other mascara brands I've tried, and I've tried MANY. Just a good product that you won't be disappointed to buy. I was hesitant to spend so much at first, as I usually don't---but let me tell you, it was soooo worth it. I'll never go back to lesser expensive brands!!! I don't have to apply multiple layers to achieve the look in going for, and it dries quickly. It doesn't smear. Doesn't flake. All around just a very nice product. 10/10 stars for me!!!! I used Thrive Causemetics mascara for years and thought that was pretty good, but I always wished that it was a little wetter, that it didn’t have phenoxyethanol and that it didn’t slightly irritate my eyes. Tarte Tartelette is everything I ever wanted Thrive mascara to be: First of all, it’s a true and very good tubing mascara. It’s wet enough not to have ANY clumps whatsoever and to coat my lashes evenly and perfectly, yet dry enough that it’s not a goopy mess that makes it so that my lashes can’t hold a curl. It doesn’t flake. It lengthens my lashes beautifully. It comes off easily with just water. It looks perfectly fine in the morning if I don’t wash it off at night. The brown color is a rich chocolate shade that complements my autumn coloring perfectly, not just a brownish black that looks essentially black once on. It’s the only tuning mascara I’ve ever tried that’s actually buildable; two coats looks dramatic, not clumpy and botched. I look like I have lash extensions. All this AND it doesn’t have phenoxyethanol. I absolutely love it. I have found the holy grail of mascaras.

This is a great mascara. The tubing really works and is my favorite type of mascara. It comes off easily with warm water but does not smudge throughout the day. I will say that the tube that came when I ordered the product was smaller than I expected, but that was probably because I ordered the travel size by accident. Overall this is a good product that I will order again.

The best mascara I’ve ever used. It doesn’t give dramatic lashes, so I love it for every day use. Stays on all day with no smudging. And if it does flake, it’s time to buy a new one. 10/10 recommend. I’m on my 4th one.

Tartelette mascara is just okay — not great. For me, it doesn’t go on easily enough and so doesn’t coat my lashes that well I think b/c the formula is too thin/liquid-y. It slides off my lower lashes almost entirely within two hours and leaves a gray hue under my eyes. I’m going back the thrive extensions mascara (not their Volumizer one which I didn’t like at all). It was perfect and stayed on even thru a workout. My only complaint was that it got gummy in the tube when it was close to empty so I felt a little gypped — not a deal breaker tho. Thx.

Not good quality

Absolutely love this product, really thickens my lashes as they are fine and no smudging and the fact you can remove with warm water.. bonus. Love it.

Super mascara, il rend les cils parfait : longs, fournis et il ne coule pas ! Un peu cher tout de même pour un mascara !

Feels very light vs. loreal lash paradise that makes me feel sleepy and heavy eyed after application. This one separates and curls lashes nicely without clumping. Only negative is it doesn't volumize a lot. I'm going to use it as my everyday mascara since it's so gentle and removal is easy. No smudging or lash loss at all.
