Tailgate Insert Letters Compatible with 2021 2022 2023 2024 3D Emblems with Strong Adhesive 250218 Matte Black

This black F150 tailgate decal fits perfectly in the factory “F150” indentation and gives the back of the truck a sharp, finished look. Installation was quick and easy, just clean the area, peel, and stick. The alignment was spot on, and it went on smoothly. The adhesive has been excellent so far. It’s been through rain, heat, and a few car washes, and it’s holding strong with no peeling or lifting at the edges. The finish still looks brand new, and it definitely adds a custom touch without being over the top. If you want to give your F150’s tailgate some subtle style, this is a simple and affordable upgrade that delivers.

Letters look great. Seem like quality material. Adhesive seems to be good. Install is super easy since they are actually thick and align easily. Be careful, the "5" has a top and bottom. Don't ask me how I know. I also put the skinny side of the "0" on the top. I couldn't really tell on the actual tailgate so I just picked an orientation. Really make the tailgate look finished. Very happy with the look. I'll update if the Adhesive fails. Matte black really pops against the Carbonite Grey.

Decent tailgate letters for my 2024 F-150. Matte black, thick ABS material with a strong adhesive that stays put. I use a light coat of a soapy water solution while placing and centering the letters into the tailgate recesses during installation. It allows for centering and adjustments. You don't want to place them dry because the adhesive is pretty aggressive. There's no room for error at that point. Be sure to prep all the recesses with rubbing alcohol in order to get an oil/wax free environment and strong bond that will last for years. These are far less priced than others on Amazon, and the same exact quality. Shipping was slower than others, but $60+ less than the competitors.

Install took a total of 10 minutes. I did a Dry application. be careful the adhesive is very sticky and I had to use a flat pick to pop it off if I made a mistake. I will return to this review to update on how it holds but for now, I’m very happy.

Easy to install if you take your time. Product seems like it’s good quality and the tape is very sticky. I am happy with the purchase and time will tell about the durability of the product. The price was solid for what I received and gave me look I was after.

Perfect fit and easy to install (with steady hands). Not sure on the longevity but time will tell. Right now they look great.

looks great, but adhesive could be better. it is a little weak. the plastic seems to be quality cut and fit. easy to install. i cleaned my metal with car wash, then water, then rubbing alcohol, then dried with clean rag, then low heat heat gun to make sure it was dry. the glue at first seemed great, but several weeks later i noticed the 0 coming off. i know i did everything i could. i believe a better tape is needed. for the price it is fine, but look for better tape. i am going to remove and replace the tape as needed. as for the looks on the race red- it is great.

Good product , easy to apply , and I liked the fact that they were not decals or sticker thickness but rather like an emblem . The clear tape on the front helped to locate the letters and numbers properly before final adhesion as well . I hope they will last through many washings , and the sun doesn't fade them...time will tell.

NOT A FIT FOR 2024!! This item has a rounded 5 not the square 5 needed for the decal.
