The GoPro MAX has exceeded my expectations in almost every way. The camera itself feels rugged and well built, just like you’d expect from GoPro. This camera is awesome! I’m still learning how to make great videos with it. The connectivity can be a little tricky, but once it connects, it works just fine. The weight is okay—honestly, a few grams more or less don’t really matter to me. I’m still trying to figure out how to add overlays in the Quik app. Sometimes I like to show how fast I’m going on my bike (or, more accurately, how slow 😂).

Amazing quality, outstanding video replay, vivid and bright, excellent clarity. The image stabilization is super impressive. It's also got this feature for times like turning your head to look at something ( camera mounted to a helmet ) the camera maintains the image that it had been foucused on... still not sure how much I like or don't like that feature, there are times that I intentionally look at something to the side of the road to record what I'm seeing, and the camera doesn't go with the head turn, just a little, so you don't get to see what the rider is looking at. It's pretty easy to get set up, if I can do it, you can do it. Attached is a picture to go with this review, you can see for yourself how cool this camera is, I haven't even used all of the different features, like the 360, but I will soon, gonna get a stick to mount it to the back of the bike.

We use the GoPro MAX primarily for recording our Miatas while racing and autocrossing, and overall it's been a really fun camera to have. The biggest advantage of the 360° recording is being able to capture EVERYTHING around the car instead of worrying about whether the camera was pointed at exactly the right angle. When you're racing, the last thing you want to be doing is messing around with a camera, so being able to record the entire scene and decide on the angle afterward is awesome. The stabilization is also impressive. Between the movement of the car, quick turns, braking, acceleration, and all the vibration you get during a run, the footage still comes out surprisingly smooth. Being able to reframe the 360 footage afterward makes it great for racing videos because we can switch between looking ahead at the course, seeing the driver, or showing what's happening around the car. Video quality is very good, and when everything works together properly, you can get some seriously cool racing footage out of this little camera. The reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is that the overall experience isn't always as seamless as I'd like. Working with 360 footage takes more time than a traditional GoPro, the files can get pretty large, and transferring/editing footage can occasionally be frustrating. There is definitely more of a learning curve if you want to get the most out of it. That being said, for motorsports it's a great camera. We've gotten footage from our Miatas that we simply couldn't capture with a traditional forward-facing action camera. If you're into autocross, track days, racing, or anything where you want to capture multiple angles without mounting several cameras, the GoPro MAX is absolutely worth considering.

Don’t buy it through Amazon I bought one it turned on once. And never turned again, I called for techs support never responded and created a ticket on go pro, still waiting for response POS

I love my camera !! It is a really nice & affordable option for those who are trying to start their content journey! Perfect size for portability, and I love that it comes with the carry bag! The battery lasts for a while as long as you power it off when not in use, otherwise it’ll drain fast. Compatible and easily can download the gopro app onto my phone to import any videos / photos I take! Compatible. The gopro itself works perfectly, and depending on which SD card you buy, can produce very high quality images.

Excelente es la versión 2025 y funciona de maravilla. La calidad es buena. Solo si deben gastar en una buena tarjeta SD V30. Yo uso la sandisk extreme pro y funciona perfecto. Con 128GB da para casi 4 horas de grabación.

I've been an avid fan of GoPro, first buying the GoPro 4, then 6 and now 11, all of them were superb with good advancements from one to the other. I've used them for snowboarding, snorkeling and general videography on mountain bike, paddle board etc. I love the idea of 360 degree footage and there are definite plus points of this format which has advantages over the standard version. the issues I have are as follows: Video quality underwater - this is not as clear as the normal GoPro, if this is the reason for purchasing I'd buy the snadard GoPro, it's ok but it doesn't have the same level of clarity. 360 degree joining - due to the two cameras there is some automated knitting of the 2 lenses, this is quite obvious and it does show clearly whereas the the insta 360 seems to do a better job with their software. Conclusion - GoPro has always been a leader and for good reason but others are now doing a great job and haveaybe overtaken GoPro at least in the 360 market!
