I purchased this Gladiator helmet as a gift for my husbands birthday as his birthday is in a few days! Arrived in a little under two weeks. Was a million times worth the wait. I haven’t given this to my husband yet, but I am literally geeking over how cool this thing is. He’s at work right now and I am just staring at this thing. I put it on and it’s way too big for my little baby girl head, but I’m sure it’d fit a much larger man’s perfectly lmao. THIS IS SO COOL. My husband showed me Gladiator with Russel Crowe for the first time a few months ago and I’ve been obsessed with gladiators since. AND THIS IS SO COOL. The quality is fine, I’m definitely afraid to drop it though. Probably just because it’s so cool. Not very comfy on the head but again - my head is tiny and this thing is HUGE. I’m so pleased with my purchase. Very cool collectors item. Will look sick on his work desk or something. He’s gonna love it. I think I love it a bit more, though. 100/10 recommend, I would buy this again and again and again. Thank you, whoever in the world made this sick replica.

It's okay for a distant display over priced for what you get. Be prepared to modify or repair the spikes.

Similar, though not quite as high-quality as what is pictured. Fine for a costume or kids, but not as desirable for display purposes. There is a gap between the faceplate and helm of the helmet that is noticeably larger than pictured and the crest of the helmet is crooked relative to the face plate. I returned this helmet and ended up purchasing a licensed Gladiator helmet by Windlass Steels through a shop in the UK, that is much higher quality, and is much more similar to the movie helmet, though more expensive. It appears that no licensed helmets are currently made in the US. For unlicensed helmets, this one is better than most I think, but you get what you pay for.

This thing is outstanding!!! One of my best amazon purchases. Even comes with a stand. I am 6’3” 270lbs with a big head. The helmet is adjustable, made well, and comfortable. Bravo whoever made this.

Love it but be careful these spikes are sharp. I bought it just to display never really plan on wearing it but if you did you better have a battle to go to this is a bad Mother trucker

The face plate was bent right out of the box and you could tell that it was spray-painted. One of the spikes on the helmet was also missing.

Would like to preface this by saying I had purchased one of these, was let down with the product so I had ordered a replacement, and it was just as bad maybe worse than the first. -The first 4 photos are of my original, the remaining are from my replacement- Not only was I ecstatic to get this, but to also give it as a birthday gift. Both times I was let down by how lop sided and poorly made it seemed to be. Both of them came with the whole helmet flat on the right and rounded on the left (the photos makes more sense), an off center and wonky top spike, and dents and scratches over the whole helmet. On my first try the inside of the helmet was well put together, but my second one was so bad (there’s a photo of that too). The second one was covered in glue on the inside and it has started peeling away from the metal inside. Not only that, but the leather straps were both cracked as if they were extremely old leather. There was also dents around the spikes on my second. Such a let down since this is so cool. I really hope the maker can put some more effort into getting the helmet proportional and straight.

Bought for my Brother for Xmas He immediately put it on, even though warned him it's covered in oil to protect the metal from rust, this is standard practice for any medieval gear so I was aware before hand. WARNING COVERED IN OIL After he put it on started quoting the movie Gladiator from where this helmet is iconic.

Not for everyone but if you want something a bit different to display then this is it. Yes comes with a bit of grease covering it, but nothing a quick wipe down doesn’t sort.
