Seems to do the trick, but ..!
Having toenail fungus for at least 2 decades. Started when I did a lot of endurance sports. Never tried before to cure it but nails started ingrowing plus it spread over time to most other toenails. Based on my literature research I found that Undecylenic Acid will do the trick and eliminate the fungus. Lunavia comprises 25% concentrated undecylenic acid. Fungi, however, typically grows in the nail bed and in between the different nail layers. Challenge being getting acid to the Fungi because Porosity / Permeability of the nails is too low to get sufficient acid through the nail. For that reason some Podiatrists drill a bunch of tiny holes through the nail. My plan of attack: (1) used an electrical pedicure drill to carefully grind down the nail thickness somewhat, (2) purchased Kerasal Fungul Nail Renewal which contains urea (soften Nails) and Lactic acid (exfoliates). Resulting that permeability increases significantly and therefore Lunavia ie the undecylenic acid can penetrate the nail. I apply Lunavia for several weeks now and added the Kerasal therapy only a few days ago but it looks like it improved nail appearance. For now I apply both twice daily. Promising so far (see clean, thinner nail growing out at base) but for sure it will take many months to get rid of it. Consistency required. In addition I purchased (1) Tolnaftate cream for Athletes foot to treat the areas between and below toes and (2) Hydrolyzed Collagen peptides tablets to improve nail growth rate (allegedly ca. 12%) Average big Toenail growth is ca. 1.6mm/month (small toes slower) and slows down with age. Naturally, it takes a long time to get rid of the fungus affected nails. My trimmed big toenail is about 16mm long -> ~ 10 months to grow out, probably ~9 months with Collagen. 1st pen lasts already close to 1 month, thus estimated 9 pens to complete treatment. To complete the regime I disinfect socks and shoes 😅 Update on usage: In other reviews I noticed that pens don’t last that long (I’m still on 1st after 1 month). Every time I use it I check whether sufficient wetting of the nails. Typically, I only give it a few clicks, for sure not a full turn!) I expect a treatment period well over 12 months to achieve complete cure (fungus eradication). One doesn’t wat to stop treatment too early. Even when nail looks normal (clinical cured) some inactive/lingering fungal elements might still be present. My plan is do treat for a few additional months trying to prevent it from reoccurring. I bought 3 pens. Next time I probably get 6 pens bc more cost efficient. Shelf life of the ingredients seems to be at least 24 months (at adequate storage). Will report on progress/improvements.

Works great for my toe fungus
I had my doubts with this product, but after using for almost a year, my toes are almost grown out and it is keeping the fungus from returning. This is not a fast cure. You need to be diligent using it as instructed. There is no real time on how long you may need to use it. I only filed my nail once or twice a month, but it is important part of the treatment and I think it made a big difference. Do make sure you carefully trim off any loose and infected nail. Trim down as far as you can. Otherwise, the fungus will just go into the new nail. If it gets bad, see a doctor. Do not polish your nails until healed. Cut back on sugar, as it feeds the fungus, too. Keep feet clean and dry. Just my recommendations and what I did. I plan to keep it in my arsenal.

Best product ever!!
The 3 anti fungal pens arrived safely with extra bonus material I wasn't expecting! I received a 5 pack of Lunavia emery boards, a paper calendar/habit tracker and stickers for tracking the application of the pen, a manual with photos, directions for application, tips for use, and a QR code to scan in case I want to buy more Lunavia products. They also included a card with email address to reach out in case I had any issues with the pens. Once I got the hang of twisting the pen several times to get started, it was easy to spread the liquid from the fan-like tip onto each nail surface. I am about 3 months into my Lunavia protocol, which includes soaking my feet, drying my nails well, and painting the liquid onto my nails twice per day. I definitely notice a positive change in my nails. There is clear nail growing in! I am excited to continue and fully grow out the fungal nail infection.

Tried many things, this finally seems to be the solution!
At least 5 years ago now, seemingly overnight, my toenails became very thick, rigid, dry, and generally unsightly with all kinds of dents and cracking. Amongst other things that change for us as one gets older, this problem was making me self conscious, avoiding beach and lake trips with friends because I didn't feel comfortable wearing flip-flops anymore. I'd tried all sorts of things - topical fungus treatments via pen applicators (just like this one), foot soaks, biotin supplements, a variety of oils...nothing has helped. The worst part of this process as I'm sure anyone dealing with this issue knows, is the amount of time it takes to verify if one treatment or another is working. Toenails don't grow that quickly, so at minimum, you must commit around 2-3 months to a consistent treatment routine before you see any results. Even after that time, you may think things are looking better but are ultimately not really sure, so you continue for another few months before finally giving up, researching another solution and trying that...rinse, repeat. Suddenly 5 years have gone by and you've probably accepted the issue will never be solved but...then, hopefully, you come across Lunavia! I've been using it for about 6 weeks now. I just started my third pen, not sure if that means I'm using too much or too little. I do one full twist of the pen per foot, which pushes out a single visible drop of fluid to the edge of the pen brush. Instructions say to apply twice a day, after a shower (or something to soften the nail), so I shower in the morning, apply it, let it dry as I continue the morning routine before work, then when I get home, I do a tea tree oil epsom salt foot soak for 15 minutes, then apply again (trimming/filing nails about once a week or so). I've been pretty disciplined about this, though I've missed some days here and there due to various trips I've taken where it wasn't convenient or possible to do. After 6 weeks, this is the first treatment I've tried where I don't feel unsure about whether it's working or not, I can confidently recognize progress for the first time! Nail color is changing back to the way it should be, they are thinning out as they should, they're looking smoother, straighter... Everything I've disliked about my toenails the last 5+ years seems to be reverting back to looking healthy the way they used to, and I couldn't be happier about this. Next summer, I will be able to wear flip flops without feeling self conscious! I will say, these pens are pricier than others that also contain the 25% undecylenic acid. It's possible the cheaper options may work just as well, but I've already spent 5+ years trying all sorts of things at varying price points, so I opted not to go for the cheaper option this time. Give it a try!

Update 5/7/26
Won a free pedicure. Even the fungus was free. Lunavia seems to be working. Apply morning and night and staying diligent with the process. 5/7/26 update.- fungus almost gone! I’m going to continue to apply the Lunavia until my toenails have grown back out. I knew something was up after my free pedicure. My toes itched and drove me crazy after a couple of days. I forgot to mention I filed the top of the nails to help the medicine soak in.

GREAT PRODUCT
I’ve been using the Lunavia antifungal pen for a couple of weeks and it’s been really convenient and easy to use. The pen applicator makes it simple to apply directly to the affected area without any mess, which I prefer over creams. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave a greasy feeling, and after using it consistently I noticed the itching and irritation starting to improve. The 3-pack is also good value and the included nail files are a nice bonus for preparing the area before applying. Overall, it’s a simple, hygienic, and portable solution that I’d recommend for anyone dealing with athlete’s foot or nail fungus.
