V-Guard VG 100 Voltage Stabilizer for Refrigerator (Grey)

After lot of research I could only find V Guard as a reliable brand. Their pdf guide to select the Stabilizer impressed me. It gave good idea about difference in various model. I had checked with my electrician about voltage problem. We have more issue of fluctuation rather than very low or high voltage. So this help me save money. Else shop owners here were recommending VGSJW100 that can sustain up to 90V. But cost was double. The installation is just fixing plug in pin. It is 4 amp Stabilizer so the plug can fit in any 5amp socket. The Stabilizer had 5/15 amp plug so any plug of 5amp or 15 amp can fit in so no worry for that. Only cons I find is their is no input output voltage display. If they could add digital display it could give more assurance that my equipment is well protected. Today is day one and I hope it protects my equipment - I use 365 L refrigerator and Stabilizer can work up to 600L Better go with it works with 4 amp Equipment

Bought this product and forgotten already, it does it's job so well. I have bought other brands stabilisation devices and and have fuse issues and burnout. But V GUAD Stands out, my observation over the time the built quality has reduced only with regards to the outercasing the reliability is still the same this brand trustworthy.

@ Editing my review after 1 Month+ usage. # VG 100 Model fit for refrigerators upto 600 Ltrs. / Deep Freezer upto 4 Amps. # Before buying a Stabilizer, Check your Refrig. current rating and provision for future changes. # this model is NOT for TV's, Stabilizer has time delay function specially for refrigerators. Features: * Stabilizer has time delay protection of 2-4 minutes, So when electricity cut-off happens (mains trip, Supply off, or Switched On/Off) the Refrigerator will not power on immediately. instead at least 2 minutes are required for Power On. This feature saves the compressor from wer out. * Wide range of input voltage protection from 135V-280V. this is sufficient for most people. unless you live in a poorly supplied electricity area. * Comes with a 5 Year warranty. you need to register online. * Premium Design & Looks. My take: * Use of Voltage Stabilizer is Highly Recommended for longer electronics life. * If you dont like the constant 2 mins+ delay and dont mind spending more in this product range, opt for VGSD 100 or VGSJW 100 for a more intelligent time delay function. * for very low voltages, opt for VGSJW 100

V GUARD brand is qualitatively excellent brand for stabilisers. It is good. A BIT expensive. Small, compact, good looking. Input, out put lights on, off. No digital display
