ODIER Thru Axle Bike Fork Mount Quick and Secure Mount for SUV Van and Camper

Very effective (along with rear wheel holder) at stabilizing bikes for transport in the back of our cars. Simply remove the front wheel, place a rod thru front fork and clamp down the rod to hold the bike upright. My daughter fit 2 full sized bikes in the back of her Honda Fit. We used the holders mounted on blocks of wood for simple set up and take down.

I was driving up to Maine with my father who doesn't have a bike rack for his van, so I bought this mount which we drilled into a couple pieces of wood to make a stable platform. The device is easy to adjust and securely fits over my front thru axle and we were able to easily fit this in his Honda Odyssey. They also provide replacement grommets and t-rail hardware if you were to mount this. My only qualm is if you were to use this outside of the car on a rack, there is no way to securely lock the mechanism, thus stealing a bike is pretty easy.

Works great. If you were like me and wish it had a feature to allow it to lock them fear not. Grab a 1/4 inch drill bit and drill through the right side in the middle of the slight flare out tab and just put your lock through it. Sure, it's not Fort Knox but it certainly goes a ways to make it take longer and generally more difficulty. Really curious as to why they didn't think of this but it's way better than the poopy version with the horrible lock cylinder.

Makes mounting your bike easy. There are several holes that can be used for mounting options. Its easy to adjust the T-bar to get a nice hold on your axle. I run a boost axle up front and the mount fit it fine without any changes needed. I am using this inside, so not sure how it would hold up to the elements. Seems like it would be fine though. Much cheaper and more secure feeling than the Rocky Mounts option. Only downside is there is no lock for it.

This is a well built fork mount, but the design is a bit puzzling. Since it's for a thru mount axle, there's really no reason for a clamp. It would actually be easier to slide the axle through a solid tube. Also, you have to be careful tightening down the clamp - one click seems too loose, and one more spin and it's so tight to close I almost couldn't get it open again. I had to use a claw hammer to pry it open. As for installation, more puzzles. There are parts that are too large to slide in the L-track frame. There's an alien wrench that doesn't fit any of the screws, and the holes of the mount don't line up with the ODIER L-track it's made for. Regardless of these ideocyncvracies, it does work. It's just more complicated and difficult to use than it has to be.

Very nice product, well built and much more affordable compared to rocky mounts top loader. These don't lock however I don't need them to as using with a trailer. Don't hesitate to buy these, great product and comes with several bolt and t nut options for rails. Bought 3 and will buy a few more for sure. Made from high quality solid aluminum.

The mount works great. I had to drill the front hole out to 3/8" for the mounting L track mounting system I used. Still lots of material so no worries of the mount loosing strength. Would buy this product again great quality.

Design and materials are very nice. I attached this to a sheet of plywood that fits inside my SUV. I attach the bike while the plywood is outside, leaning on the bumper, then slide the whole thing in.
