The vacuum/mop itself is great. Works well, and magically avoids spreading dog puke all over the floor when you're ot paying attention, especially when well lit. Not as smart as I'd like; often starts remapping home randomly, or just does something weird. Like, you'll tell it to return to station in the middle of something, and it's only 2 feet from the station, and it will inexplicably roam the entire house. The brain is so bad, for the money, that I would have given this product only 4 stars, except for the customer service. My battery sensor came loose/broke, so the vacuum would no longer charge. I contacted customer service outside business hours, received an email promptly the next day. They asked for a screenshot of the amazon invoice and a picture of the broken sensor which I sent, and within a week they shipped me a new vacuum. No fuss, no muss, they just fixed my problem. Amazing service, which more than makes up for the occasional "SQUIIREL!" behavior of the vacuum.

If I could give this Deebot zero stars I would. I have had several robot vacuums over the years and in 2022 I bought the Deebot T8. It was the best robot vacuum I ever had (only had the “i” brand before that) and the Deebot blew it out of the water. Unfortunately, it was used on a friend’s extremely dirty floor and I could never get the smell out after. I tried to buy another one and it was discontinued, so I bought this version. It has absolutely been nothing but issues since I brought it home. First of all, it did not want to connect for setup. Once I finally had it set up I set a schedule for it. The mapping and schedule did actually work well. Also, it did a fairly good job actually cleaning the floor - when it would work. It caught on literally everything and got stuck in the same spot every day, so it would never finish cleaning. No go zones were difficult to set up and when we would unstick it, it would just go right back to where it got stuck before and get stuck again. Then there was the docking issue. The dock is very flimsy and likes to tilt backwards when it tries to dock. The only way to avoid this is to put it against a wall which has no baseboard or trim, of which I have none. And I had the dock on a hardwood floor. There should really be no issues. It got to the point where the only way to dock it was to literally lie the dock facing up and balance the Deebot on it. When you do this, there is no way to schedule the cleaning. After this point, I was so entirely frustrated that I gave up and bought a different brand, which actually works really well. I will never go back to the Deebot brand again. I have moved it upstairs so I have one on each floor, but I can only use it manually. Buyer beware. (PS - yes I did toss it in the video… I was so over it getting stuck in my fan over and over and over I kind of hoped it would just die. I truly hate this thing.)

We have liked Deebot vacuums and have had them for years. this is a replacement for one that died a peaceful death after many years of service. The thing I do not like is it comes without its own remote and you have to run it with a phone ap. I don't run my life with phone aps. It also has a very small dust collection container so I suspect it could be a problem but it works for me because it mostly runs to pick up dust on hard wood floors and under beds.

Mapping was easier than I thought, does a good great job of cleaning I have a fog that sheds a lot. I run this everyday and it has made a tremendous difference in dog hair floating around and paw prints on hardwood from wet paws I recommend I bought mine used on Amazon and it was missing cord but I bought that on EBay for $13.00

I purchased this vacuum/mop to replace an Roomba vacuum only model and I am rarely impressed with most purchased. However, this model is impressive. I realize it is only a mid-range model but for our two person household, it has worked remarkably well for the 4 weeks I've owned it. It is light years ahead of what I was able to do with the Roomba. It is significantly quieter in operation. The vacuuming and mopping seem to do a good job overall. It is able to get into smaller spaces and perform better cleaning than my Roomba. The app is very helpful with a lot of configuration options. We only run it weekly on a schedule. Our original process was to do vacuum/mop simultaneously with decent results. However, we just switched to vacuum followed by mopping and the results are better. I really like the fact that it can interface with Home Assistant in a robust way. I do not like that it is cloud dependent but that is no different than my Roomba integration with Home Assistant. Mapping is overall good but not without its issues. The LIDAR does a good job of mapping but it does not deal well with glass sliding doors. I manage the errant map locations by creating No Go zones. Ultimately this works well to clearly identify the correct zones. Our main floor of our house is mostly hardwood with some rugs and carpet runners. While early in my ownership, this unit seems well built and should hold up at least as well as the Roomba. All robot vacuum systems need occasional maintenance and this unit is no different. I would definitely consider buying another one for the second floor of our house.

I had a different brand of these for about 5 years and it gave out. I researched and decided to buy this one. I do love the some of the features as my old robot mop/vacuum did not do: the mop pads lift and will vacuum without me having to switch anything out and this hub empties out the trash from the vacuum straight into a bag, I also love that you can use a cleaner in this machine (only the brand specified). My old one I was only able to add vinegar to the water. Another great thing to note is that the mopping pad sticks out so it can get into all the cracks and right up against the wall. The BIGGEST con for me is that one of the mop pads gets stuck constantly and comes off. With my luck it always happens when I run it and I am not home. One other reason for my 4 stars is that there is a stain on the floor that I refuse to clean up until the machine finds it. Its was some drops that my grandkids spilled some juice. There was quite a bit of drops but now we are down to one. UPDATE 9/1/25 I have had my robot vac about 3 months now and I really don’t like it. It is constantly going off line. Sometimes it doesn’t dock all the way to charge and dies and I don’t even figure that out until I need to clean and it’s dead. It also leaves a ton of water drops everywhere when mopping. I’ve decreased the water amount and doesn’t help. First time I removed the mop pads the Velcro tore off and I couldn’t put back on. (Customer service did send me a new set of mop heads fyi). Also it’s supposed to lift pads when going over rugs and it doesn’t, it gets stuck on my kitchen rugs not sometimes, every time. So I have to remove them prior. Just not a happy camper for what I paid.

Pros: Great at picking up pet hair, app is easy to set up and use, decent at navigating obstacles, can set a schedule and control it remotely to run when youre not home Cons: Sometimes randomly gets lost or map gets messed up (try not to pick it up and move it, I think this causes it), kind of loud, CANT AUTO DOCK ON CARPET - I dont know if anyone has run into this issue but the vacuum sinks on plush carpet while the dock does not since its lighter, resulting in a height mismatch for the electrodes; the solution is to put a thin but sturdy piece of plastic under the dock extending to where the vacuum would sit to act as a sort of ramp (pic attached). Its an easy fix but annoying that I have to make modifications for a $200 robot to function.
