No safety cover provided.
It is fairly easy to grind blunt the needle shaft and use them for lubricant application. No safety covers provided so I did not use for their intended purpose. Excellent size, quality, and function.

Missing any safety cover & 18g disposable needle cover won’t fit
The 14X30 are excellent needles for sheep and goat vet use. They function about like our normal 18g x1” we typically use. Only issue we’ve had is they do not have any cover/cap and a disposable 18g cap won’t fit! That missing something like this would normally only knock a star off however since it relates to safety I had to go down 2 stars. If they add a cover or if normal leur lock needle covers fit they would be 5 stars…. PLEASE Either size these where normal disposable safety covers work or include a reusable safety cover honestly I would rather use disposable. Need something to keep from accidental sticks / at least an attempt to keep the needle sterile. These are an excellent value as they can be sterilized and reused and they can even be sharpened if needed. The only issue I have with them is the cover.

They not good they are not 16 gauge needles. They won't even penetrate the skin on cattle
