This comb was recommended for dog hair tangles and it works great on my miniature schnauzer.

I have a 7 month old Shih-Tzu. She’s nothing but a giant ball of energetic hair with eyes and a tongue that never stops licking. Her last visit to the groomer, they said she had lots of knots and tangles. I brush her every day, so I was confused. The groomer recommended this comb and a slicker brush. I give her a good combing through every other day, sometimes every third day, and she’s always knot free. The wide-toothed end helps get the thick undercoat nice and straight. Then I go back over her with the fine-toothed end to get all her fur silky smooth. Finally, I go over her with the slicker brush to make it nice and fluffy and shiny. Oh, and it’s fantastic at getting all those small places between her toes. All that only takes about 15 minutes. Not only is her puppy coat nice and fluffy and smooth, but she never has knots anymore to irritate the groomer and cause her discomfort. The last bit of great news about this comb is it’s very easy to hold and maneuver, and it doesn’t slip at all. I have carpal tunnel, but my hand never gets strained or goes numb. I HIGHLY recommend it to keep your fuzzy, loving, ball of fur looking and feeling great!

My cat is HUGE. He is approximately 30 pounds. I swear 5 of that is fur and dander. I brush him all the time because he gets big clumps and matts. The vet used one of these combs last time we went and it was like a freaking miracle. So I got this one. It is fantastic. A lot more efficiency then the brushes and we have several different brushes. But this fat cat is also super mood swingy. So one second he likes to be brushed and loved, the next second he's scratching with his triple pawed gargoyle sized paw. The only thing is, this comb pulls knots so its almost hard to do in one swift stroke, it takes a couple. Finicky cats dont like dilly dallying in forbidden areas, even though they're purring. It works but be careful.

I have a puppy that mats easily and doesn't like to be brushed. My puppy is much better with this comb than the previous comb I was using and all my brushes, and I have several brushes. My puppy seems to be sensitive to all of them. The comb is great for preparing the fur for lighter brushing and styling. The comb helps me deal with the mats. The handle makes it much easier to hold, and it doesn't slip out of my hand. The teeth also comb through the fur very gently, and it seems not to bother her too much. I think it's because the teeth are not too sharp and because they are round. My last comb had round teeth, but it was as nice as this, and I think the teeth were a little sharper. I'm just glad she lets me comb through her undercoat. It is clear why this comb got such great reviews; it is definitely a great comb!! It came recommended by a groomer, and I see why she likes it so much. I suspect this will be the last comb I will ever have to buy.

I have tried everything with my long hair kitty. Brushes and combs that guaranteed to remove mats. None of them worked! I got this inexpensive comb and both my cats love when I comb them! It gently goes through the fur and gets rid of the loose hair. My long hair kitty doesn't run anymore when she sees the comb come out! Slow and gentle.

Great comb, sturdy and easy to use. We’ve already used it to get lots of burrs out of our dog’s coat.

I don't know why I didn't get a comb sooner and kept buying brush after brush for my long-haired cat. He doesn't mind those, but he will lay down for a loooong time for me to brush him with this comb! It works so well, love the two different sides depending on my needs, and it's easy to clean. Recommend!

This is really THE BEST combing tool I tried for my pups! I have a long hair pup and a short hair one! I tried different brushes and combs for them but none really worked. Their groomer suggested I should try this comb. What a nice surprise, not only that it combs their coat very well, but none of them is afraid of being combed anymore, actually they are enjoying it! I comb their coat every day now, no tangles anymore! It is easy to handle, not slippery and safe for my pups!

Pünktliche Lieferung. Da ich zum ersten Mal einen kleinen Hund mit längeren Haaren habe und einem ziemlich buschigen Schwanz wusste ich nicht, wie ich die langen Haaren am Schwanz entwirren sollte. Er kam aus dem Tierschutz und hatte viele Dreadlocks. Mit dem Kamm, viel Geduld und jede Menge Leckerlis konnte ich ihn richtig hübsch machen und jetzt trägt er seine Fahne hocherhoben durch die Gegend. Nicht vom Ansatz durchziehen, sondern von außen zum Haaransatz vorarbeiten. Evtl. a bissl Argan- oder Nachtkerzenöl verwenden. Dann ziept es auch nicht.
