Hello. All Little Debbie products only have a shelf life of 3 - 5 weeks from the bakery / manufacturer. This is a normal time frame for these products. It also depends on the specific Seller and where they source their LD products. We, for example, get all our Little Debbie cakes from an authorized distributor so we know the dates are as fresh as possible from the bakery direct. We hope this helps.

Why are these marked as $2.59 on the boxes received but you charged almost $5 per box? definitely will not be purchasing little debbie/drakes again.

The reason is because they are money hungry. On Amazon as of right now each box of the snack cakes can be purchased for $2.50 . They are charging $22.99 for $12.00 worth of product.
