I used this for work (programming) and it took a while to get used to due to the arrow keys and lack of numberpad. That being said it feels incredible and Ive had most of the major switches like MX Cherry, Kailh, Gateron, Logi etc. The Topre really does feel nice but some people might miss the clicky sound of something like blues, like I do. The board is light (some would argue it feels cheap however, I don’t share that sentiment) but note that I don’t really travel with it so I can’t comment on portability. Price is on the high end so it takes a hit there. People more well versed than I give a slew of reasons for the price so I won’t comment more. The layout is the what I like about it. You don’t have a caps lock (which I never really found that useful) and have Control in the location instead which is more relaxing on your hand. The delete key is one position lower which makes sense since it’s closer for your pinky. The arrow keys are really hard to get used to but once you’re used to it (took me a month) your hand moves a shorter distance so I found it more comfortable. Overall, it’s a fantastic but pricey board. It’s one where you have to invest time for the change in layout but it’s easier on your hands and wrists.

I bought this keyboard after reading all the good reviews and the PFU product description. I decided to go with the Professional Classic because I didn't care about the Bluetooth (I usually avoid Bluetooth). I got the keyboard and started using it (on Windows). Some of the layout is really cool, like the nearer backspace and the absence of in the way caps lock key. Other features, like the absence of arrows, are really a downer. I knew it a buy time, but decided to still go with this keyboard because there was an official remap tool available. Big mistake. When I decided to go get it, surprise, the "Classic" models are not supported. I checked again and none of the reviews I saw online mentioned this. The PFU website mentions it, but with an asterisk on the download page. There seems to exist hacks (voiding the guarantee, of course) to remap the keyboard, so this looks like a deliberate software limitation by PFU to sell their higher end models. It was mentioned on the Amazon page, as I saw afterwards, but in comparison table, way too far in the product page for such an important difference. Really disappointed to buy such an expensive keyboard which is so limited compared to its higher price cousins.
