This product is really great. The capsule form makes it easy to take daily. 30 billion CFU and organic prebiotics are a plus for gut health support. No side effects noticed so far. Overall, a good choice for digestive wellbeing, and I feel better since I started using it.

Maximum Care Time-Release Probiotic (MCTRP) by NatureWise was sold to me at a discounted price (not free) in exchange for my honest review. MCTRP is both a probiotic and prebiotic. Which makes this product stand out above the rest when compared to most probiotics on the market. Probiotics work best taken with prebiotics fructooligosaccharides. Fructooligosaccharide is derived from inulin, which is completely plant-based - it can be found in onions, sun-choke (aka Jerusalem artichoke), chicory root, garlic, asparagus, banana, artichoke, among many others. I've tried other probiotics and didn't find them as effective as the probiotic and prebiotic blend. I've always had a problem with irregularity and MCTRP is helping my bowels become more regular (No one likes to talk about it, but it is what it is). Healthy gut flora leads to better weight management, and better overall health. About the physical characteristics of the product: large caplets, not the easiest to swallow, and they are a bit chalky and powdery (also why it got 4 stars instead of 5), but on the plus side they are shelf stable and don't have to be refrigerated (but will last longer if they are). I would definitely recommend this product. NOTE: I've also received NatureWise's Women's Care Probiotic/Prebiotic + Cranberry blend, which is why I only took this product for two weeks...had to give both an equal trial period.

This is a very solid purchase because of the multitude of benefits it offers. I particularly liked its gut health support. It's great that it caters to both women and men. The 30-day supply makes it convenient. With 18 different strains, it surely is comprehensive. Plus, it's gluten-free! All in all, it's an excellent choice for anyone looking to improve their gut health.

I rarely leave reviews, but this product changed my life. One of the few things that has worked with my particular illness. I love it. The only reason I’m leaving low stars is because the product only works when the tablets are smooth. Once they start disintegration, they quit working for me. The last bottle came in with the start of disintegration and powder at the bottom of the bottle. The company never responds to email inquiry. I had emailed them a few times when the products were off amazon to see when they would be available and they never responded. Regardless they make a hell of a product, but it is also a touchy product that can be easily messed up. Any moisture (like in a fridge) ruins these things within a day. UPDATE 12/17/19 Company issued an apology over Facebook for their non response, and they provided me with updated contact information. They are forgiven

I chose the maximum care probiotics for many reasons. I have a neuroimmune illness that many believe might be ultimately caused by gut dysfunction. Whether it is caused by or just includes gut dysfunction, probiotics are a vital part of my treatment. I have been using a certain type that work well for me and the others I have tried have never worked as well. I am hesitant to try something new but i compared the probitoic strains in the brand i now use and this maximum care time release had every single one of them plus many more! Please see picture for comparison. I have only been trying these for one week so I do not feel I can comment on their effectiveness. I think a month will give me a better trail period to account for other ups and downs of illness. I will come back and adjust my review accordingly. I will share the reasons I chose to order the maximum care from this company. They ticked off all the right boxes for me. 1. They are shelf stable. I do not mind keeping mine in the refrigerator but I feel these are safer being shipped. 2. It contains 30 strains and 30 billion CFU. That's impressive. 3. Wisebiotics delivery system - controlled release of live, active cultures over extended period of time. The company says this delivers 15 times more live cultures to the targeted destination 4. Naturewise donates nutrients to a child or mother in need for every purchase. I like to support companies that do good in this way. 5. Naturewise sources ingredients responsibly, using recycled packaging, and renewable energy. 6. I did purchase these when first released at the discounted price open to everyone with the special that came with ebooks, etc. However, the current price is very reasonable and if I find this beneficial I will continue to purchase. Technically, I was supposed to receive a free bottle of maximum care as part of the introductory bundle but I received the women's care instead. I look forward to trying those as well.
