Mueller Knee Support Sleeve, Closed Patella, Medium

I use this while playing tennis and I find that it works itself down over my knee as I play. I have to pull it up every game or so. I also find that it has developed folds where it gets bunched up. I measured my knee before buying this and I was a medium. I'm afraid the small will be too tight. However, with all of this, it works great. I had my ACL replaced and I find that I sometimes get swelling from exercise without any support and it can make my knee feel a bit unstable for the next few days. Whenever I wear this, it keeps everything in place and there is no recovery time. I use a knee strap for lighter exercise and a heavier duty metal hinged brace for higher impact activities like down hill skiing. I would recommend this to anyone with knee stability issues but make sure you get the right size and be prepared to replace it if necessary. Err on the smaller size if you are in-between. It will stretch out a bit over time.UPDATE: Has since been replaces by the Rehband 7051 which is 7mm thick and works much better. This one has been retired.

My knee was weakened by a hard fall, and I needed some extra support during my long nursing shifts at the hospital and for exercise. This gives good support and I am able to maintain most of my mobility during high impact exercise, but it could be better. I can only wear it for about 7 hours of my shift before it becomes a bit unbearable. It's hot and the tightness becomes a little much. For exercise, it's fine for my cardio dancing classes, but not so great for running or the elliptical or any exercises when I'm pumping my legs. It was wonderful for adding padding during yoga poses that put a lot of stress on the kneecap(low crescent lunge, I'm looking at you). I will probably need to buy a different more lightweight and flexible support for use during running/elliptical, but this works well for most purposes.

I'm 28 and recently did a Tough Mudder and a 185 mile bike trip before I got this product. I wish I had known about these sleeves before! I now wear them only for extra long workouts or long distance races.I did my 2nd Tough Mudder with these sleeves on both knees and had absolutely no knee problems this time. The 1st Tough Mudder I did without the sleeves at about mile 8 my knee wanted to give up and had horrible unexplained pain. The 2nd Tough Mudder 10+ mile run up and down a mountain with the sleeves I had absolutely no knee pain this time! This product is the reason I will be able to do a half Marathon next month. I have tried knee straps and they do not work for me.Why does this product work? I have no idea; maybe because it keeps your knee in place when you run or maybe it is because keeps your joints warm. It works! and it works better than the sport straps by far. 5 stars.

Not quite the support that I was looking for. I have an older Mueller support sleeve that is a favorite. This one does not "hug" the knee as well, and would not recommend for daily use. I keep it as a back up.

Best neoprine knee sleeve on the market in my opioion but this purchase was a bit off. Sleeve is sliding and bunching at the knee. I have seveal others same brand and style and they do not do this. Fluke ? Maybe ....

So far I like the results! They stay in place, the first time I wore them they were a little tight, but since then, I forget I have them on, I'm a musician, and before these I had difficulty stepping on to a high stage, these make it much easier! For me they help.

The sleeve is just the ticket for warmth and comfort while gently protecting a total knee replacement in the winter's of Wisconsin..This is not a brace and one was not required. Gentle protection is what was sought and found with this product....Natural moist heat from ones self is perfect for the winter...

I have had it now for some time and it is still holding everything firm. It was really tight at first but not so that the circulation was cut off. I will check out the other items they have.
