It’s very thick and it doesn’t remove the make up that well

I’m not sure if I received a defective product or what, but the texture is completely inconsistent, almost as if it’s separating. After applying it, all the makeup just ends up smeared on my hands, and it’s difficult to remove. Even after washing it off, it leaves an oily residue on my face.

Love this make up remover balm! I have sensitive skin and it didn’t cause any skin irration or break outs. It’s a good value, and you get alot of product compared to other brands. It really melts your make up and makes removing easy. A new found favorite in my skincare routine.

Bought this in September of 2025 and despite wearing makeup on a daily basis, this container isn't even halfway down. A little goes a long way, and it's even better if you pair it with a makeup removing cloth. I love this product so much and it saves me so much money and reduces waste from buying makeup wipes. My skin feels amazing using it, and there's no irritation whatsoever, and that's coming from having pretty sensitive skin.

This cleansing balm works very well and it feels really nice. No weird reactions or anything. Very easy to use. The reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because I detest how it smells. It’s bad enough that I keep checking to see if there’s a due date on the jar anywhere. It doesn’t smell rancid like old oil, nothing like rot, it’s a different smell but it’s not pleasant, at least not to me. Nothing appears to be compromised inside the jar. I know scent can be relative. Maybe everyone loves it and I’m the weird one (won’t be the first time), but it’s definitely not for me. The product itself is quite nice. It doesn’t take a whole lot but I like to be thorough. It spreads better than butter. It’s delightfully silky smooth. When you add water, it becomes milky. It rinses clean easily and leaves nothing behind. To be fair, I do tend to do a double cleanse and if anything is left behind, I see it when I apply my toner so I should try it alone but my skin looks good even before I do more. So - I’m torn. Feels lovely. Works well. Leaves skin clean and silky soft. Nice large quantity. Some natural oils in there with everything else. Smells like something you shouldn’t put on your face. No pleasant fragrance - just a weird one I can’t describe adequately. I wonder if their other formulation smells better. I may have to check that out. Would I purchase it again? I’m not sure. I would like to see if the yellow one smells better but if it weren’t exceptionally improved, I’d probably not buy again. I’m very scent oriented. Ridiculously so. Because of this, I’d say give it a try. Most people aren’t going to be quite as picky - they may not even smell it the same way I do. Not uncommon for me. So yeah, I’d say still give it a try. It’s nice feeling and works well in all the important ways.

This stuff takes off everything, including waterproof. Emulsifies and rinses nice and clean. No issues with eyes or sensitive skin. I alternate between this and the brightening one.
