LOVE THESE GREAT GLASSINE BAGS! They are a bit small for wider type bread sandwiches, so I also purchased the unbleached brown bags as they are larger. These create sentimental little thoughts! The sound of the paper as you open them is unmistakable nostalgia and I love the looks from friends when I hand them their special little bag with a treat. I was sitting on a retaining wall with several folks during my lunch in a park and you would have thought I was one of those really cute gals, from a commercial, in cutoff jeans eating a burger....with the way everyone turned to look and smile at me when I opened and arranged my little sandwich in this glassine bag! Was very funny!! I could have sold boxes of them on the spot.

These wax paper bags are just what I was looking for. Everything is plastic in the stores. You cannot find a wax paper bag on the shelves. These are also a good value. The bags are slightly smaller than the cut rite brand bags. However, they are just as sturdy and perfect for snacks in lunches. I don't think they would fit a sandwich though.

These bags do not match the description. I purchased these bags from the same vendor last year around the same time for a graduation party. They are shorter and wider then previous purchase as well as being VERY thin and transparent, previous purchase was of better quality. I was running low and needed to make another purchase, so i came back to the same vendor. If the vendor is going to change the quality and look of the bag, then description and photo should match. Now I need to repurchase bags, which I need for next week and hope I get what I paid for. You can clearly see the difference in the bags, the longer bag on the Left was my original purchase last June. One on the right is the new purchase which is being returned for a refund.

These bags are more see-through than I originally thought. They are pretty thin, almost like a paper. They would probably be good for a wedding, or a one-time usage that doesn't involve much weight. I purchased them for homemade Greeting Cards, and was disappointed they were not made from a thicker material. However, the price was good, and shipping was fast.

These are the perfect size for the GIANT cookies I bring to sell at our local farmers' market. I used to just wrap the cookies in waxed paper, but it was very time consuming and often hard to keep them shut without having to use tape. (Ever try to use tape on waxed paper? It doesn't always go well!) My ingredient labels stick very well to these bags and still keep that professional, environmentally friendly look that I'm going for. I'll likely order some in smaller sizes for other items.

I use these to hold my handmade cards that are too bulky for a conventional envelope. They work very well for this purpose as some embellishments on the cards (A2 size and some a bit larger) I have put in were as big as an inch thick and they were accommodated nicely. Decorative tape or washi tape sticks nicely to it to make a cute closure for them. Easy to dress up with fabric scraps and/or paper die cuts. I have heat embossed on them and stamped on them as well. The heat embossing took nicely and after heat setting the stamp ink, it looked good as well. I plan on using them for birthday treat bags as well soon. They will be able to hold a few cookies or some candy easily.
