I bought this lock for my home office door. I sometimes travel and need to be able to lock it while my house is being taken care of by others. It went in pretty easily. I like being able to put in eight combinations/passcodes. I also like being able to leave it unlocked. To someone who doesn't know the lock it still appears to be locked but a user knows that all one has to do is touch one key to open in this mode. So, I leave it this way most of the time and if someone breaks into my home, it will appear to be locked. Super cool. This lock is very sturdy and operates smoothly. NICE. I was very surprised. Great value for the money.

I bought two of these security key door knobs over two years ago. They’re worth every penny spent. Plumbers and flood damaged floors are expensive fixes. Our purpose of installing these was to keep our ASD kiddo out of our bathrooms unsupervised. Everything about this product has worked well. Battery last a long time, easy to install, size fits a standard small inside door and it doesn’t fail. The only issues we’ve ran into were user errors. Like the time my spouse left the door open and chaos followed. Or the time I accidentally programmed one of the door knobs wrong, because the kid figured out the code and I had to reprogram both of them… So about that! I noticed one of the knobs was allowing entry with partial code input. I thought it was broken and reached out to the company. Excellent costumer service! The video I sent was seen by their tech team and they were able to explain that it was user error on my part. To just reprogram it because I had accidentally put it in passive mode. The fact that they were so prompt in their response and helpful I appreciate immensely. For me a company that stands by their product and is responsive to their customers makes it worth everything! Takeaway: I would absolutely buy again. Just don’t be like me and loose the instructions and go off your memory if you’re reprogramming the code. You may do it wrong, but at least this company has your back as they did send me a digital copy of the instructions. This shows how easy installation is though, because I was able to remember (2 years later even) the sequence to program it and one out of the two knobs was working fine. I’d give this product and its company more than 5 stars if I could. Highly recommended

Wow. We really love this door knob. The packaging was nice. The door knob is sturdy and seems to be of good quality. The price on Amazon was good as well. We had a dutch door made for my mom's safety. She has dementia and roams alot. She fell down the stairs so we had to move her to the main level of the house and block her usage to all of the stairs in the house. That door way is in the kitchen leading to the garage, basement, kids hangout room and loft bedroom. We didn't want to close the kitchen off with a full door... And we wanted her to be able to still be able to call out for someone if needed in one of the other rooms. This area is high traffic so we needed a knob with a passcode entry and key override. We researched tons of locks. This one worked best for what we needed it for, which was safety for my mom on an internal door. It keeps her from traveling to unsafe areas and its quick for us to travel through. For fire safety etc we didn't want a double key deadbolt etc. Since the door itself door was made foe this reason... Our door guy had to make everything on the door and frame work for the knob. Our door guy stated that the knob was easy to install and he was really impressed by the quality of it. There are compliants in reviews about the loud beeping. For us the beeping is fine. It allows us to hear when someone is at that door way about to come through. You only have 3 seconds to turn the knob after your code entry is successful. When the door closes it automatically locks... Which is what we needed. I highly recommend this doorknob. But its all based on what your needing it for. We would buy again.

This lock is well constructed from quality materials. Unlike many locks, it has a very solid, positive feel with a smooth operation. I used it on a narrow door which has limited space for lock faceplates. With the number buttons in the knob, it has a reduced footprint which, unlike other combination locks, fit my narrow door perfectly. I would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for two issues. 1 - The lock was not that easy to install. The directions were correct and well written but a bit complicated. I found it difficult to hold in place while doing the pre install programming. The wire lead from the battery housing is fragile and care is needed to avoid damage. This will likely become a failure point in the future with repeated battery replacements. 2 - Using the lock in passage mode requires entering a code or using a plastic "wedge" in the mechanism. Both are easily forgotten and the door can inadvertently be left open. Adding a button or lever on the inside to disable the lock would be a major design improvement.

This is very well built. Easy to install. Good looking. Been trying to find a good lock for a while. My property manager has been using them and recommended to me. I have two in my house and two at my rental properties. I wish they would make a lever version in the future. One did fail, but when I reached out to customer service via email. They sent me another one. Overall, this is a 5 star company to me.

Bought the first one 18 months ago. Worked well enough before the mechanical catch to turn the lock started failing to engage. Bought a second one and it lasted 2 days before the keypad stopped working and the seller didn't respond to emails.
